Actually, the Republicans were just as hateful to him. They didn't accept his election. They didn't work with him until he kicked their asses in the 2 budget showdowns.

Obama has to give a speech of his lifetime. He does that and he should get a nice bump in the polls and keep it.

Agreed. The stage is set for Obama tomorrow night. As long as he doesn't screw it up, it should be his election to lose.

Kind of sucks this speech is on opposite of the first NFL game. A lot of undecided voters who would have otherwise seen the speech will probably miss it.

If enough people believe Bill Clinton's sales job- then Obama has nothing to worry about and should be cruising to a landslide reelection. If they don't, then Ann Romney can plan what kind of drapes for the white house.


Still, it is Obama has to do the final convincing. So Obama has to channel his inner Bill Clinton.

Clinton just oozes charisma.

He's been going off script quite a bit - crazy that he can do that and still be so good.

This whole speech is so ****ing wonky and yet so ****ing smooth. How the hell is he doing this!? I am enthusiastic AND I am learning stuff!
