Yup, pretty crappy all around. Hopefully Nats can salvage a split tomorrow and get the magic number down to 5.

yeah, Dukes had just lost his mind and no one could deal with it
iirc, Milledge was in Japan.
and I always had a bad feeling with Wang starting.
Re: The Nats Thread (old thread link inside, too many load issues)
Wang actually pitched pretty well, it was the sun and a couple seeing eye singles that did him in. And he also randomly hit a double but he didn't score because harper eventually hit into a double play. The Nats (and the sun) beat themselves today, I thought.
Re: The Nats Thread (old thread link inside, too many load issues)
Our offense is all or nothing lately.
Re: The Nats Thread (old thread link inside, too many load issues)
Following online but we're getting guys on base, but our hitting with RISP is garbage.
JZ pitching well though.

And JZ is now 2-2 with an RBI. :ols:

Finally the sun is on our side. Werth hits it into the sun to drive in two, and Zimmerman with a big three run bomb.
All of a sudden it's 7-1 Nats. Holy sh...

Does Zimm have some history with that pitcher? He looks pumped after that HR. Yelling to himself running around the bases. And in the dugout.
Re: The Nats Thread (old thread link inside, too many load issues)
About time the sun works in our favor.
Re: The Nats Thread (old thread link inside, too many load issues)
Zimmerman opens up a can of whoop ass in one inning!!! 7-1!
Re: The Nats Thread (old thread link inside, too many load issues)
Desi was safe at home, umps are not having the best series.
Re: The Nats Thread (old thread link inside, too many load issues)
Ian's foot was completely across home plate when he was touched.
Goodness.
----That a boy Kurt!
Re: The Nats Thread (old thread link inside, too many load issues)
Wow this game turned into a blowout quick.

Why is Davey pitching Clip and Storen with a 10 run lead?

Storen needed the work... hadn't pitched in quite a while. Clipp probably to get some confidence back.
Re: The Nats Thread (old thread link inside, too many load issues)
I think it was good for Clip. He needed the work without a pressure situation just to see "Hey, I got this". Storen's work was ok too. J Zimm was awesome. Go Nats. Way to end the homestand on a high note. Don't think Atl plays tonight. So, not scoreboard watching.
