College Gameday will be in Knoxville this week for Florida v. UT.
I heard a rumor that Fried Gator is on the menu in the skybox. That would be awesome lol, I'm going to be stuffing my face all game. **** Florida

Even when they suck Espn still rides the gators jock. There has to be better games out there as an alternative to following florida around every week. Go Vols.

Great Griffin commercial. "Get outta here!"
I hope WVU isn't looking past JMU this week. Although I don't know why they would be, considering JMU is probably better than Maryland (who WVU will try to hang a hundred on in two weeks).

Just ask VPI fans though about the danger of overlooking a FCS team, JMU especially.

Notre Dame to join ACC w/ exception of Football

Quote:
Notre Dame will join ACC as full member w/exception of football. ND will play 5 football games annually vs. ACC, sources told @ESPN
Virginia Tech - Notre Dame battles for ACC supremacy
Bring it on son
Look..it's another conference bending over backwards for Notre Dame, only to soon learn that ND eventually will make all of the decisions for the conference - even when they aren't a full time member.
Plus, adding more mediocrity to mediocrity doesn't do much for the conference, does it? I mean, other than adding ND's insane and mostly irrelevant fanbase.
I am embarrassed that the ACC would accept any school to join that wasn't 100% in. I don't care if its Notre Dame. They are a dinosaur who if I were a conference program, wouldn't be interested in getting involved with. Join a conference 100% or go back playing the Coast Guard and Salvation Army.
I guess ND wanted an easier football schedule, so they committed to 5 games against the ACC a year.
:evilg:
Seriously, they do have an impressive schedule this year.
09/01/12 vs. Navy
09/08/12 vs. Purdue
09/15/12 at Michigan State
09/22/12 vs. Michigan
10/06/12 vs. Miami
10/13/12 vs. Stanford
10/20/12 vs. BYU
10/27/12 at Oklahoma
11/03/12 vs. Pittsburgh
11/10/12 at Boston College
11/17/12 vs. Wake Forest
11/24/12 at USC
My guess is 5 to10 years for full membership. I'll say this- if it was as it appeared that the Big 12 kind of was waiting around for Notre Dame and didn't agressively go after FSU- this decision will ultimately hurt the Big 12. Now, there is no team with cache out there that the Big 12 can expand with. Nobody.
