There's NOTHING wrong with the trade whichever way you cut it. And the guy who offered it is obviously willing to give up Green for his needs. The B/S that some people pull in fantasy, a game that should be just that, and a fun escape on Sundays; is pathetic and tawdry in the extreme.
Hail.
And that's the thing, he came to me with the trade. Its not like I held him up at his computer and said hit accept. He texted me this morning with that trade.
Re: 2012 Fantasy Football Thread
I can't stand leagues that veto trades. I don't think the need for trade veto's is as great as the power it gives other teams over yours.

We had this same thing in place last year and there were tons of trades and nothing ever was vetoed. This is the 2nd time this has happened this year. And its mainly 2 people that are stirring everyone else up so they will veto.

Then I'd say a league contraction is in order for next year.

Oh yeah. I'm not even doing it next year. Not worth my time and the drama. I was in too many leagues this year anyone so cutting down one is probably for the best.
Re: 2012 Fantasy Football Thread
The funniest thing happened in this Fantasy League I am running for my family.
My nephew beat our cousin by .26 points last week. I haven't been paying attention to our league because it is blokced at my job. Anyways, my nephew had RG3 as his QB. If you follow fantasy football real close you should know where this story is going.... :ols:
A stat correction was issued for RG3. In our league, QB doesn't lose points on sacks. However they do lose points for rushing yards. In the 3rd quarter of the Skins/Bucs game. They ruled that RG3 was sacked on one play. The stat correction stated that it was not a sack, it was a run for -7 yards. So RG3 lost .7 points. So instead of getting a big win, my nephew (8 years old by the way) gets a L and he is pissed off. He is so competitive and that pissed him off. I can understand his pain :ols:
Has anybody ever lost a game that way? :ols:

This is why I NEVER play games with kids under 10. (And that didn't sound half as wrong in my head as it does on screen. ).
TOO many Wii ass kickings taught me this the hard way. Lil' ******* NEVER accept getting beat.
Hail.

Oh and now I just made a trade of RG3 and Spiller for Rivers and Wallace. No complaints this time. How is this any different than the last one?

No, it's not the fact that he lost, it is the way he lost. To have the taste of victory for a day or two, only to get it snatched away off a technicality :ols: I would be mad if he wasn't pissed....

Oh, I got it totally man and fully agreed.
I was just making a separate observation on the times I've been burnt taking on kids. Particularly on video games.
lil' ******* are both too darn good and too darn competitive.
Hail.

Exactly what happened with the first trade, I missed it. I know RG3 was involved, but who else.

Well if that works for you, good. But it's still a complete joke you've not gotten AJ.
Hail.

I was trading RG3 and Alfred Morris for AJ Green and Carson Palmer. It was vetoed because they said the other dude had Cam and doesn't need RG3. Yet he was the one who came to me with the trade offer.
