Taylor Heinicke is absolutely incredible. He's going to be amazing by the time he comes out.

I'm so impressed with LeVeon Bell's blitz pickups. He just planted his anchor and stoned that blitzer who was going top speed. He's a big man.

What on earth is that in Cordarrelle Patterson's hair? Looks like one of the alien dancer chicks for Jabba the Hutt.

I think Braxton Miller has shown a tremendous level of growth as a player too. He's looking pretty great. Fascinated to see where his career goes.

And as I say that, Braxton Miller looks like he just got seriously hurt.

La Tech has officially opened up the game against uva. Rocco benched
41 to 24.
La Tech was just running blitzkrieg offense and used zone stretch from the shotgun and was just churning up the yards. The passes were just sideline bubble screens - yet pieced together 3 to 4 a pop.
One note as it pertains to the Skins and this thread, Aboushi "holds" like nobodies business each play. I mean it's savvy. He uses his hands like a seasoned vet, but literally on every play his hands have a handful of jersey and I think he's only been called for holding once today.
On pass protection he gives a hand shiver jab to the head of the defender to get him off balance, hasn't been called ... so keep doing it. And each time he gets his hands on the inside of the shoulders and really uses the grip of the jersey to gain leverage.
It works against La Tech and TCU. I don't know, don't think it would translate to Jarvis Jones / Mingo / Montgomery. Last year's match up against Florida State's Brandon Jenkins showed a little of both good and average.
La Tech game is on espn 3.
Quinton Patton - soft hands.

And Patterson again ... guy is just silly with his long strides.

It seems kind-of like a beaver's tail, to me.
Re: 2013 Comprehensive NFL Draft Database
I just dont get how they trot out Rocco to be the QB for UVA.
Re: 2013 Comprehensive NFL Draft Database
Yeah Rocco is cooked. It's clear Sims deserves that job.
Re: 2013 Comprehensive NFL Draft Database
Its been clear since the beginning of the year that Sims needed to be the starter
Re: 2013 Comprehensive NFL Draft Database

I just don't see him in there. #68 is playing LG.

Blaize Foltz:

After being turned away by Kansas coaches a few years ago, Blaize Foltz has become a key member of the Horned Frogs' offensive line.

In the back of his mind, Foltz could hear those old Kansas coaches, too, sowing the seeds of doubt.
Too short.
Too light.
Not Big 12 material.
Which led a reporter to ask: After all you've been through, where does this rank? How does this feel?
"Feels good," Blaize said.
The voice was quiet. The grin was intense.

Terrence has 314, Bailey has 300. I literally have never seen Baylor play a game with D ever

JMPasq is killing these draft cut ups so far. Dude is one of the top ones at it, and has put out over 100 so far this year(from what I remember him saying lately)

That TD run from the video was amazing. Tremendous display of change of direction ability and some power to drive through contact. Why doesn't he always run like that? Most of the time he doesn't.
He's a fantastic receiver out of the backfield. I love that about him. His speed and agility are also first rate. But his lack of vision and power are somewhat limiting and keep him out of first or maybe even early second round consideration IMO.

I'm extremely impressed with him. He looks like a first rounder in those cutups. Big, athletic, physical, instinctive, and skilled.
He does a great job using his hands and his ball skills are impressive. He's a gifted tackler that clearly enjoys the contact of the position. He reads run well and does a nice job getting off blocks. Does a nice job playing bump and run and looks like he's got good recovery speed. Good leaper with long arms. Looks pretty instinctive with the few zones he ran there but it looks like single coverage is his wheelhouse.
Why do they have him playing the boundary? He looks better than Greg Reid to me.
Anyway, he looks like the prototype for a starting outside corner in the NFL. He reminds me of some of the long, physical corners the Chargers used to draft, like Quentin Jammer or Antonio Cromartie.
I think he could be a bargain later in the second round. Looks like he's got some first round ability.

Jay Finch is only a junior. I thought for sure he was a senior, that's how impressive he is.
His team bio: http://www.ramblinwreck.com/sports/m...nch_jay00.html
I would seriously spend a sixth or seventh rounder on him next year just to see if he could bulk up to NFL size. Such a smart, savvy player. He's a great cutter and second level blocker too--just a coordinated, agile blocker with some natural quickness. Good attitude too. And I trust his brain for the position.
As of right now, he's too small for the NFL IMO. That 6'3 285 lb listing looks inaccurate and generous. But our scheme does allow for smaller linemen and I'd draft him and hope he could be able to bulk up to a minimum size.

Instinctive too, does a nice job feeling out openings and also works back to the QB when he needs an outlet. Very aware player who knows the game.
I also enjoyed some of his dirty pool tactics in the running game and when he got caught trying to spring his teammate open on that one route. This is a savvy player.
His routes look pretty good. Very sharp and really nice ability to change directions and come out of his breaks with some explosion. He adjusts to the ball very naturally and his hands look pretty soft but doesn't look like a jump ball receiver like some of those monsters like Dez Bryant, A.J. Green, Justin Blackmon, or Michael Floyd. He's a type that will win with a combination of skill, cleverness, quickness, and some surprising physicality.
You're right Monk, he really looks like Pierre Garcon.
