Re: Let there be football: Week 1, 2012, Official Gameday Thread
The Chargers look very unimpressive, so leave it up to the Raiders to look even worse.
Jason Campbell may have thought he had it bad in Washington considering all the new coaches and offenses etc etc....but the Raiders screwed him even more. He did a decent job as their QB, nothing spectacular but nothing bad, and gets injured, the organization pulls a desperation move to get an over the hill and unimpressive Carson Palmer, and basically sends Campbell packing due to an injury.

Wow, I can't believe they have Berman and Dilfer hahaha.

Now that was a horrible handoff, lol. Palmer sucks.

It's amazing that the Raiders won 8 games last year.

Could be another long season in Oakland
Re: Let there be football: Week 1, 2012, Official Gameday Thread
This would be the biggest Norv fail ever if the Raiders somehow win.

I dislike Baltimore but they looked impressive tonight. This could be a superbowl year for them, they certainly seem to be in position to make a run at it. They get a crack at the kevlar wrapped turnover machine next week. I might have to watch that.

Well the SB really shouldve been Baltimore and SF last year but both teams blew their games at the end.

i wasn't laughing at the "valuable" part. I was laughing at the fact Chucky called him a piece of property. I guess he is, but it just seems wrong to say it like that

And half of them were under the leadership of Jason Campbell...they were above .500 before he was injured.
He REALLY got a raw deal in Oakland.
Re: Let there be football: Week 1, 2012, Official Gameday Thread
The Raiders are really going to regret that trade. Sure, Campbell probably won't be able to bring you back from a 14-21 point deficit, but I think they could've rode with him while continuously upgrading all other positions on their team without giving up picks for a semi-retired QB who really hasn't been the same since he wrecked his knee in the '05 playoffs
Re: Let there be football: Week 1, 2012, Official Gameday Thread
Didn't Oakland give up TWO first round picks for Palmer?
What the..........
