Yeah, I've read that the team would wait til after June 1st to release him due to cap implications. Don't know the specifics of his contract, but the IR move seems to indicate that the team is ready to part ways with Brown.Quote:

I read his hip was sore the day after his first practice.
This is what I can't quite wrap my head around. Though I could understand him being sore after a real practice after returning from the PUP, how in the hell are you that sore after spending 8 weeks reportedly rehabbing and getting well? Furthermore, it's clear that (according to what I read) if he was sore the first practice and did not practice anymore afterwards, how much did the rehab help and did they coaching staff not know that he was still unable to contribute to this team in any capacity? :silly:Quote:

That acquisition was never right. From the trade to the resigning. I'd almost feel better about it if it were an injury he didn't come to the team with. If he came with a bad hip and left with a bum knee. In that sense, we could say we didn't see that coming. But this dude's hip was damaged goods from day one.Quote:
