The Knee Jerk (and just PO'd) Thread (MET)

I can't believe the Skins dropped 11 passes. And like 10 of them were totally on their own.

But that doesn't keep me from being pissed off the officials kept their hands in their pockets. Win or lose I want every damn penalty against the Skins called. So I'm glad Hall got in that POS refs face.

Frankly I'm starting to think the NFL wants us bad. We've got a rabid fanbase so win or lose it doesn't matter to them and a winning Redskins team attracts more pissed off Native American groups than a bad one does.

the thread title should be edited to read just po'd. its not really a knee jerk reaction anymore.

This team has multiple holes.. Nearly half of our starting lineup needs to be replaced or healthy starters return. We have limited draft picks. We have another 18 million dollar salary cap penalty next year..

Haslett needs no be fired. Danny Smith needs to be fired. Shanhan needs to show improvement to allow him to continue this putrid experiment.

Knee Jerk maybe.. But knee jerk since 92? I don't think so.

I know watching this team is detrimental to my health, that's why i turned it off in the first half. I knew what kind of day it was going to be. I have enough $#$% in my life so why get mad watching football, just turn it off. :ols:

What was up with the kneel down at the end? Are we just not fighting anymore? Should we pack it in now and try for next year? Good thing we'll have a high first round pick next year. Oh wait.

If ever was a time for Goodell to suspend somebody, I think D. Hall and Now would be acceptable.

The Redskins are the only team that regresses. The defense is plainly terrible and I don't want to hear no bull**** about Orakpo and Carriker being gone. The fact is London Fletcher is old now face it. We need a new middle linebacker, two new Safeties, a new Defensive Coordinator and let's take the rose colored glasses off we need two physical shutdown corners as well. Shanny knows nothing about defense which was his downfall in Denver and is still a problem. Danny Smith also sucks period. Also the receivers and play calling today was comical. We call a screen to the biggest slowest tight end on the field.....Yay Kyle put the crystal meth down dude you stink. Resting on your daddy's name isn't getting you any farther..............

Our season is over...

next season wont be any better with no 1st round pick and 18 million more of salary cap penalties...

so... might as well go to sleep on football until 2015.

hopefully by then Haslett is fire and Danny Smith is fired.... and we can get some decent players and coaches on defense and special teams.

but that would be an impossible dream.. so instead.... it'll be the same crap with a couple extra decent players by 2015

Our players just plain suck and do not perform. Last week it was a breakdown in coverage, this week it's drops. The coaches are putting them there, they just aren't performing.

I'm right there with you. No more wasted Sundays watching games for me this year. The emotional investment for this year is over.

The promise of RG3 has faded to the some ol' same ol': Poor coaching, poor play calling, overpaid athletes half-assing it through the season, and (to be fair) decimating injuries.

I'm okay with not h aving a high first round pick, because we got RG3 for it. He's a gem. Although we can sure draft 7 DB's next year and maybe some LB's that can get some pressure to the QB.
