I'd say it makes Fletcher expendable. Maybe not this year, but if (as most expect) Fletcher retires at the end of this year (2013), then we should at least give Jackson a shot in the middle. I hope he gets some play inside this year. Maybe he can make a move like Alexander did, and given that Alexander won't (or likely won't) be back, maybe Jackson can be the guy to take his spot as the backup MLB this year.Quote:
