My Dream Seats: FREE to any disabled combat veteran
I am a 30 year-old disabled veteran who was injured during combat operations in Iraq back in 2005. I was subsequently retired (medically) from service and reside in the DC area. I picked myself back up, got back to work, and now enjoy life as a dedicated Redskins fan (I grew up in the area). I am a dream seat season ticket holder and I'm looking to gift TWO (2) seats, plus a Purple Parking pass, to an upcoming home game to a combat disabled veteran (or, you can just come with me)
If you know one, or happen to be one yourself, feel free to reach out. You must have verifiable injuries that were incurred during your service to our country.
Here is a photo that was taken in 2005 in which President Bush is awarding me the Purple Heart at Walter Reed Army Medical Center.

Also, for anyone that is interested in hearing my story, I am currently filming a documentary on my experiences post-injury. http://www.facebook.com/soldierdocumentary

Wow LF! Thanks for your service to our nation.
What a nice gift for some deserving vet. Hope you can find a worthy taker.

Very awesome thing to do...and as others have said Thanks you!
Re: My Dream Seats: FREE to any disabled combat veteran
I just wanted to stop and also say thanks for your service and this is really an amazing thing to do!
Re: My Dream Seats: FREE to any disabled combat veteran
Thanks all. My service did not end when the military retired me. It's the least I can do for my brothers and sisters who are still sacrificing.
Re: My Dream Seats: FREE to any disabled combat veteran
Legendary, first of all, please let me extend my sincere and heartfelt thanks for your service to this land we love so much. Your personal sacrifice, and the sacrifice of all our men and women in uniform is something that can never be fully repaid.
I just called a good friend of mine, who goes by "RaySkin" here. He is, I believe 40 or 50 percent disabled, combat related, and an Iraq vet. He is VERY interested in these tickets if they're still available. You may be looking for a 100% disabled vet, and I can certainly understand that. But he would be most grateful for an opportunity like this.
He's on the road right now, but should be home in an hour and a half or so.
Again, thank you!!!

How can anybody say we don't have the best fans? Got goosebumps right now because I am so touched. This is one of the coolest things I have seen on ES.
Thanks Legendary Fan for the inspiration and for serving our country.

From one Vet to another, this a cool thing you are doing. I was lucky enough to make it back with my body still whole. I was diagnosed with PSTD a few months ago though so Im still working though that.
I already have tickets to this seasons games so Im not throwing my hat in the ring, just wanted to chime in and say we are proud of you and this is truely a great thing you're doing and I would be honored if you stopped by Green lot E-43 and had a pre-game drink with a a fellow Vet.
