I disagree. Griff had ample time to get out of bounds or throw the ball away. The defender made the right play and there should've been no flag, just as it was called.

The hit was very avoidable. The sideline is not an area where you slide, it's where you throw the ball away. You have players in from across the field at full speed, throw it away.

I guess that's why I am sitting on my couch in my living room, because I said RGIII should be back in and I would have too!!!!

He didn't start his slide til' the defender was already in his tackling motion. How can you continue to overlook this? He waited far too long to slide. He made a rookie mistake, it's going to happen occasionally but lets not make crazy excuses for him when they do.

I don't know how to get across that I'm not being sarcastic. That seriously was the best counter that you could have given.

That was actually a clean hit. Remember, last year, Fletcher hit Brady when he was sliding. The play was flagged, however, Brady himself admitted later on that it was a clean hit. Furthermore, Fletcher did not get penalized.
