I was under the impression we had a free end zone concierge service..

One idiotic fan does not represent the Vikings fan base. The Redskins are not dirty. The tackle on Peterson last year was not dirty...just unfortunate. The Redskins are a class organization and the fans are better than generalizing an entire fan base from a few idiots.

Ugh I remember 1987. That last pass to Darrin Nelson swatted away by Green. That loss is nothing but a flesh wound considering how many times the Vikings have been stabbed in the heart.
Also the Vikings have an NFL championship, possess one of the best all time win loss records in football, and have multiple hall of famers. There is no "juju" in Minnesota sports.

Puuuulease. Minnesota is one of the best places to live, has high graduation rates, and is one of the friendliest sports atmospheres in the U.S. I've been to 17 different NFL stadiums to back this statement up.
Not being a jerk, but what NFL championship? They were never in the "NFL Championship" before it was called a Super Bowl. Only if you are referring to beating the Browns 27-7 in 1969. But nobody recognizes any of those titles when the AFL and NFL started playing each other. It was more of a conference championhship game, even though it meant that you had won the championsip for "that" league.
ok lol you have one person crying that we are a dirty team and then you have this guy......--------->http://www.vikings.com/fans/messageb...b-d82dc63f5518
Our only dirty scum bag player that I routinely see is D Hall. Which is typical of VA Tech alumni that play football. He is probably The Redskin I hate the most and he is not that good so it doubles the hatred.
As for what the Vikes fans think about us, I have no hatred for them like I do other franchises but I have no love for them either. Minnesota might as well be Canada as far as I'm concerned no real reason to think about them or go there.
Hall isn't really dirty. He talks too much and he'll get into shoving matches with opposing players... but that's far from being legitimately dirty. Madieu Williams is the closest that we have to a dirty player and that's because he seems to like to launch himself high at receivers.
No it's cool. A lot of people are confused about it. In 1969 you had the National Football League and the American Football League. The Vikings were the champions of the National Football league by beating the Browns. They then lost the "world championship" to the Chiefs. The Vikings even got a trophy for it. This certainly doesn't erase losing to the Chiefs, Dolphins, Steelers , or Raiders. But it is considered a championship. There were no conferences back then.
I've lived in Maryland for 35 years. I respect the Redskins and their accomplishments. And I also think the Vikings lose Sunday. We are due an ass kicking from the Skins.
Yikes.
Here it is for those that don't click links:

I've noticed in recent years, we have done pretty good against the Redskins. Plus I know it was the Redskins game last year that Peterson got injured. I want RGIII in this game because I want the Vikings to be the team to finally put him out of his misery. I don't like him. He's overrated and I know he's not the answer for the Skins. He's going down Sunday if he plays. This is another winnable game for the Vikings and I expect this game to be someone similar to the Titans game. Except I expect our offense to do better. And maybe Ponder will have one play where he actually surveys the field and stop staring down one WR.
This one is better.
After reading idiots like that post, I'll be happy when they move to LA and this guy cries at night.Quote:
Now that you mentioned it JEC334, I agree with you. I don't like RG3 either and if he does play I hope one of our young secondary players gives him another concussion and dishes out a little pay backs for busting up Petersons knee last year. Our young secondary is starting to make a name, they can add to it against the Skins. I am worried that Skins will go after Petersons knees again, I hope the Vikes decide to split the duties with Gerhart, no need to take risk with Peterson again with Gerhart in the mix.
For a long time now I feel I don't have to actually worry about a team passing to no end against our secondary. I am proud to say that those young guys are good and so is our secondary. Simpson needs to get it going and Ponder needs to hit him right between the numbers, no excuses then. Despite a claim made by a person in here whos name I won't mention, that made his typical and yet foolish comment that the Vikings have no chance in this game, I see 5-1 coming.
SKOL VIKINGS!
Any pro team that sports purple as their primary color should not be taken seriously.
That goes double for their fans.
Well, I must admit that I always had a soft spot for the purple people eaters and fran the man tarkenton. Bud grant was a very good coach who just could not win a sb.....of course the vikes back in the 70's went up against some real powerhouse teams in those sb's.
I was at the viking game last year, and saw fletcher immediately signal the viking sideline when ap went down. Ap was running aay from where I was sitting, so I could not really tell what had happened. However, I do not recall any national outcry over a dirty hit on our part. And, that actually ended up costing us as the backup rb, and eventually backup qb, came off the bench and lit us up.
I will admit I am a bit taken aback by the vikes start this season as I did not think ponder would prove to be the answer at qb. Also, a testament to ap that he has come back so rapidly from acl surgery. However, I still get the feeling that maybe minn is playing a bit over their heads right now....like everyone that got all excited over the cardinals only to have some air let out of their sails last week. Vikings are in a tough division where da bears are solid, the packers have a sb just a couple of seasons ago, and the lions are, talent wise, a contender for a plqyoff berth if not division title. Maybe the vikings r one of those suprise teams this season......like I thought we might be after the aints game.
Think this is certainly a game we can win, especially at home. Our longest home losing streak is 10 games.....heard it on redskins nation today. Hopefully rgiii will not only play, but give some of the viking fans even more reason to hate after a skin win......with NO injuries to either team.
