With the Redskins facing the $18m fine and no # 1 draft choices for the next two years, it is obvious that we will be players in the FA market, but who do we use as trade collateral to help fill some of the other needs?

Nobody...
Looking at our team nobody outside of RG3 has as much or more value to an opposing team than our own.
Maybe someone will get desperate for Cousins? Ha. We should keep him anyways and develop him though, will always need insurance if RG3 goes down
I preeeetttyyy.. much think it's not gonna happen, but let's not completely sleep on the notion of Rak being traded.
However, you mention player acquisitions. I don't want to trade Rak for a player. Shanny/Allen are quietly drafting very well, in any given round, so perhaps someone throws a nice little handful of picks at us for Rak.
2nd, 3rd and even 4th rounders may be as valuable as the first we don't have. Would we have been happy if Alfred Morris was a 2nd rounder? Yes. Would we have taken Alfred Morris at the expense of Rak? Maybe.
His injury makes a unique situation, too. Nobody's saying he sucks, his value shouldn't be down that much.
I love Orakpo, don't want to see him go, but hey you started the thread lol. Consider it a possibility.
Orakpo is going NOWHERE. Our pass rush isn't **** without him. People need to put this ridiculousness to rest. He will be resigned when his contract is up. Period. I'll take a Sig bet with anyone on that.
We've got no one to trade.
Some CB/S free agents: Brent Grimes, Jabari Greer, Aqib Talib, Jairus Byrd, Tyvon Branch.
There isn't a player on this roster that other NFL teams feel they need to trade for, except RGIII. And he's of course, untouchable.
If we can somehow land either Sam Shields, Rodgers-Cromartie, or Aqib Talib in FA (in that order of preference), snag a RT or Safety in the 2nd/3rd rounds of next years draft, I feel like we'll be in GREAT shape. And I'm his saying this with the fact that Meriweather still has a chance to prove his value before the season is up.
Won't Revis be on the market...ACL and all?
Between their 2nd, 3rd, and FA they should target adding 4 new starters or key backups -
LB, CB, S, OL

(don't nobody yell at me) this is just a wondering thought....IF a team got a player like RG III and thought they could do better for less sorta speak. What value do you think RG would have if he was put on the trade block? Would it meet or exceed what was given up to obtain him in the first place? Would it even be a slight temptation for a team?
Wow! You are brave!

In Hog Heaven, Redskin Nation or whatever you want to call us right now. And not having a quarterback since Mark Rypien that looked like they could reel off 13 win seasons, you have just committed blasphemy. Hope the ES gods are merciful and forgving. But like you said, it was just a question, RIGHT?
Evan Royster for a late round pick. I honestly believe that's why they tried to give him that TD yesterday. This regime has consistently flipped prospects that don't fit the long term plan for late, conditional picks. We've been able to trade guys like JC, Barnes, Tryon, Dennis Morris. Trade Royster for a conditional pick and sign Hightower. That pick can be another Morris or Crawford.
