My friend who sent me the link said the Griffin sold for 5k earlier in the day.
As did the first Ovechkins IIRC. They wound up selling for over 20k 5 years later, and Griffins Rookie TB will be much more desirable IMO.Quote:

What's great about the Nike jerseys is that they're actually serial numbered. That should cut down on the fakes tremendously. Meigray should grey those out IMO, and just keep the serial number in a database, only to be used on a confirmation basis only.
These throwbacks are awful pricey, but they sure are beautiful!
