what is there to speculate, you all say that Tebow doesnt practice well and that he isnt a practice player (which is a major crock of poo, it means he sucks), McElroy is starting over Tebow.
and b, Im responding to WALEOVECHKIN's theory of who leaked the story. So yes, this is speculation.
And lets say Rex is being honest and doesnt want Tebow to play Wildcat anymore, he trusted a small WR to throw the ball down field more than Tebow. Thats how much they think of the guy as a passer.

insane. you've never met dude and you are saying that. Just battyI've never met OJ Simpson either, but I know he's a bad person.
no, its true. I even posted Adam Schefter stating what Tebow told him. Its true, but you choose to not believe it because you dont want to believe it.So Adam Schefter knows more that goes on in the New York Jets locker room than Rex Ryan? Gotcha.
lol, of all the things. LOL. You blame him for his dad selling him to a college. He called a reporter sweetheart, and you think thats horrible? I hope you feel the same way about Riggins saying "Loosen up Sandy." That was much worse/Are you gonna tell me that Cam knew nothing of his dad selling his services to the highest bidder? You can't be that naive, man. And as for him calling the woman "sweetheart". It wasn't used in an endearing way. It was after a Panthers loss. It was derogatory to call a female journalist that. Do you for me to explain why?..Btw, if I'm not mistaken, it was also the same postgame press conference where he made the idiotic "Suggestion box" comment. Of course, you're probably unaware of that also, I bet.
and if you saw the play, Tommy Kelly was twisting Cam's leg after he was on the ground and admitted he was trying to take him out the game. I bet you wanted Cam to get hurt tho.I saw the play. Yeah, the Raiders were going after him after the Panthers knocked Palmer out of the game. And Cam even admitted as much after the game. With just makes his actions on Sunday even more ridiculous. So you know they're going after you harder, yet you KICK a guy because he's messing with you after a play. And on another play, he got roughed up a little after a released the ball, yet that gives him the right to get in an officials face and BUMP him?! I'm sure you had no problem with that either, huh.
the last 12 months Rex Ryan has been very conservative about what he says in the media, especially since the Jets are not winning. He didnt want this distraction.

Well, let me clarify. I don't have much problem with it UNLESS it costs us a penalty. Despite what most of our fans think, Garcon deserved that unsportsmanlike flag vs Cleveland. Or at the very least, it's understandable why the ref called it. He spun the ball and pointed at it while the Browns player was right there. He also appeared to be jawing at the guy. That's gonna get you a flag nearly every time.

You don't know how McElroy does at practice, so you're only speculating that he does better.
How about this:
Ryan has been taking heat from a lot of people for keeping Sanchez the starter as long as he did. He waited way too long to make a change at QB.
So now that he makes a change (way too late in the year), he puts in McElroy to cover his own ass - if he puts Tebow in and he wins, he then invites more criticism for not making the change sooner. By putting McElroy in, he can say "I changed QBs and we didn't improve. It wasn't my decision-making that cost the team".
He then takes Tebow out of the wildcat to remove any chance whatsoever that playing Tebow could have been the right choice.

Adam Schefter said he spoke to Tebow on the phone on Sunday, after this story came out. Now if you want to say that Schefter is lying, then go for it. The irony is that Schefter was trying to defend Tebow's actions but made it worse.

I have no idea if Cam knew his dad was selling his football talents to the highest bidder. I also dont think that makes anyone a bad person and it says more about the stink that is major college athletics than anything else.
And "sweetheart" was said in a less endearing and derogatory way? Are you serious?:ols:
The faux outrage over that was incredible since no one ever bothered to ask that female reporter if she was upset or offended by that comment. Instead the Panthers were 1-5 and everyone decided to make a story out of Cam being a jerk for calling a woman sweetheart. Do you even know who that reporter's name is? Has she said anything about that? No, you dont of course, but im sure after your "outrage" you went back to oggling cheerleaders or something.

Cam didnt admit anything, it was Tommy Kelly who said they were trying to injure Cam. Have you ever played sports before dude? If someone is intentionally trying to hurt you, you are going to brush back. I didnt have a problem with the kicking at all because dude was twisting his ankle and they were pushing his head in the turf after hitting him, etc.
What I did have a problem with was bumping the official, that was stupid and he should have been tossed from the game, but kicking out on a player? Petulant sure, but I understand it and cant say I wouldnt have done the same. I bet you wish Kelly twisted Cam's ankle real bad since you think Cam is like OJ.

dude may not even have a job in a few weeks because of the loses he is taking. If Tebow gave the Jets the best chance to win, he would have put Tebow in weeks ago, or at least Sunday. He is there in practice everyday watching all 3 QBs play. If Tebow was performing well, he would be playing. This isnt a damn conspiracy (and whats funny is you dismiss McElroy playing better than Tebow in practice to prop up this cockamamie theory). He would know more about this than you and I.
And :hysterical: at the reason you think he had for taking Tebow at the wildcat.
Re: Cam Newton reportedly targeted at Pro Bowl last year
This thread is hysterical. Can't believe there are 18 pages on this topic. Bottom line is to some people, like me, Cam is a doucher. To others he just plays with "swagger", whatever that means. I think "swagger" is just another word for douchey. He just needs to grow up if he is going to stick around in the NFL for much longer.

And do you seriously not get why it's a bad idea for an athlete to call a female reporter that? ..Seriously?..The outrage was warranted. It was just anther example of how immature the guy is. No one likes losing. But the guy handles losses like a small child.

And, yes, I've played sports before, guy. Very well, in fact. And if someone were deliberately trying to hurt me, I definitely wouldn't kick another player and then run behind my big linemen and start trash-talking like a little pansy. And not surprising that you wouldn't have a problem with it.

Now when it benefits you, you side with Ryan? LMAO..Come on, dude. Do you even proof-read this stuff?

I agree with this. I also think our team talks way too much **** right now.

Pretty much.
I'll say this though: the guy has shown noticeable improvement in his interviews and whatnot after games these days. I don't know if one of his coaches or teammates have finally gotten through to him, or a 'light' came on, or what. Granted, he's been playing a lot better the past month or so and his team has been winning. But I have little doubt that he'll revert back to douchebag Cam again next season, once the losses start piling up again.
The guy just doesn't handle adversity very well.
Re: Cam Newton reportedly targeted at Pro Bowl last year
Winning covers everything temporarily. He just doesn't make sound decisions for himself. Perhaps he isn't bright, or perhaps he's just a douchebag. All I know is that the dude who stole a student's laptop at Florida and painted his name on the back of it dressed like this to a press conference earlier this year:
http://thefootballgirl.com/assets/images/newton(1).jpg
So he certainly hasn't changed much.
Re: Cam Newton reportedly targeted at Pro Bowl last year
That's actually one of his better outfits.:ols:

Ok dude, we get it. You think poor cam is being picked on because he's black, and you've made it your personal mission here to elevate him while crucifying Tebow as an example of a "bad" white qb.
Never mind the fact that cam is a raging asshat, who continually perpetuates that image of himself to anyone with a pair of eyes.
He's not viewed negatively because he's black. He's viewed negatively because he's an assclown.. end of story.

thats an appropriate word :ols:
I dont know the motivation for why Cam is picked on here. What I do know is that if you took the names off those players backs and just put there statistics and stories down, most of the same people bashing Cam would be defending him while bashing Tebow.
And Tebow is also a raging asshat who decided to quit on his team.
