Glass half full people. He should be closer to 100% next week.

That is true. I think they will make RG3 prove he can do it. Hopefully another week will help him. I think there will be a chance for it early in the game. I guess what I meant was if RG3 looks like he did today it will not be used. I'm sure it is always in the game plan.
Re: It was obvious that RGIII isn't at Full Speed. Probably won't be against Dallas.
Meh. I think it might of been gameplan... Why take the hits? I dont think that the coaches expected the defense to get rolled over.
Re: It was obvious that RGIII isn't at Full Speed. Probably won't be against Dallas.
Philly has actually kept RG3 in check, running wise, in both meetings. So I'm not sure his lack of running today wasn't more about Philly than his knee. Also, we did run the read option...RG3 just never called his own number (maybe he did once--I forget).

And whilst we're on the subject, so long as he's 100% February 3 in New Orleans for our fourth Lombardi is the main concern.
Hail.

Finally! Someone with their eye on the ball

According to Chris Russell on ESPN 980 a few minutes ago, his lack of runs were by design, and his "ginger" run was also "by design" so to speak....RG3 said he purposely cruised because he knew he wouldn't be running much in the game and wanted to stick with the gameplan, but said he feels fine.

Could be the case but if I'm not mistaken most of those plays picked up like 1-3 yards a pop. The one time he didn't hand it off he looked like he was moving in slow motion LOL.

If that's true that makes me feel a TON better lol.

Yep. I heard this as well.

Hadn't seen that yet thanks for sharing. Great news too. I hope Dallas expects him to be limited based off the today's game and he can start gashing them by surprise next week.
Re: It was obvious that RGIII isn't at Full Speed. Probably won't be against Dallas.
RG3 clearly wasn't at full speed, but who cares? He played well enough to lead us past a really crappy team and will be feeling better next week when it counts.
Re: It was obvious that RGIII isn't at Full Speed. Probably won't be against Dallas.
He doesn't need to run. He's as good a passer as there is in the league and the Cowboys secondary is terrible.

I'm not buying that, sounds like Shannyspin to me. I'd love for it to be true though.

I was thinking the same thing... The Doctors and Shanny made the right call for sure. There is no way he should have played based on todays movement. I don't expect a miraculous recovery back to 100% based on what he looked like today. This is gonna take time especially when considering that playing on it brace or no brace puts strain on it to some degree as it is, and he's certainly not as quick straight ahead to sideline, much more turning the corner. It's gonna make it easier to pass rush on shotgun when the run option isn't honored. Hopefully Ware isn't at full speed if he plays as I don't want to see him hit RG like he did in first game. That looked like a second concussion event.
