Eh, I'm not down with the "hurting the grass" reason. But, storming the field after a 10-6 division clinching game? I mean, I think you leave that for NFC game championship winning, down the road.. We're shooting higher than just making the playoffs. If not this year, then down the road for sure.
Re: Fans that are attending Dallas game
I hope the dumb fans don't come. It'd be nice to not have our own fans drowning out our offense when they're in the huddle or at the line or scrimmage. It's gotten steadily better as the progressed from 3-6 to 9-6.
All those times you sit at home and wonder why it's so loud on offense, that there must be lots of the other teams fans? No, not really, that's our own fans unfortunately.

In our parlance, as Redskins fans, does it really get ANY bigger than Sunday?
As a one off occasion. The SB sure, but outside of that? Of course the championship game takes you there, but to those of us who bleed burgundy and gold if you sliced us down the middle; does it get ANY bigger than beating THEM for the division in a straight up, winner takes all game in OUR house?
Understandable why ANYONE would go bat **** crazy in pure, unadulterated ecstasy at such a moment against your most hated rival. And I wouldn't say it lessoned anything because of it either personally down to the fact of what's at stake, and who it's against.
Hail.
Re: Fans that are attending Dallas game
I wish I could be at that game!!! PLEASE anyone and everyone, BE LOUD AS HELL!!! I live in El Paso, TX amongst a huge cowboys fan base. BUT my heart and soul will be at FedEx Field on Sunday night, and I know every Redskins fan across the world will be doing the same!!! It is time that we stand up and put them in their place!!! We need a repeat of December 18, 2005 when we beat them soundly 35-7!!! Plain and simple - WE HATE dallas!!!

All that needs to happen: STFU on offense. Please and thank you. You are not "exercising your right", you are just being ignorant and stubborn. Man, one game this year the Broncos fans were getting too loud for Peyton's liking and he motioned to the crowd to shutup and within about 5 seconds, Invesco was dead silent. It was fantastic.

I get it, I really do. I grew up in the 80's watching the 'Skins go to SBs, and then lived through the last 22 years as well.
I get how big a game it is. I will be thrilled if they win. The situation is perfect.
A division title at 10-6 is great. Over Dallas is great. I'll be beside myself. Jumping up and down.
I was there in 2007 when the 'Skins played their final game against Dallas to seal the playoffs. It was awesome.
I'm just not sure it's field-charging worthy. But I won't be there. So, anybody who wants to charge the field, Godspeed.
Re: Fans that are attending Dallas game
226 will be loud, I promise.

Yeah, that won't happen at FedEx. It is sooooo annoying. Idiot fans are going to be chanting RG3 in the red zone. It's almost a 100% certainty at this point.

This.
Storming the field for winning the division is for losers. You wouldn't see teams that have been on top of the division do this.
How about handle your business and when we actually win something worth winning, we celebrate accordingly.

How true is this! How awesome it will be for those of you who attend - This is one of those rare games that will be talked about for years, and for those of you going you will be able to say that you were there! Take advantage of this opportunity - Be LOUD for our Defense, quiet for our Offense and be that 12th man! Ive been to games in Seattle and experienced their crowd first hand - I believe FedEX can go beyond that. I have confidence that this Redskins fan base can raise to the occasion and create an atmosphere that will not only inspire our players but will them to win this game.
Re: Fans that are attending Dallas game
The crowd will be fine, loud all game. I don't see us being less quiet for the Cowboys when we were as loud as I ever heard us for both the Giant and Raven game. Question is when do the lots open? A noon opening time with screens for the early games like the opening night game a few years ago would be nice.

I mentioned that in another thread. I would think that we would hear about this by Wednesday at the latest. It's gotta be pretty short time frame for the Redskins to reserve those "screens on trucks" things.

LOL. Man alive. 7 or 8 hours straight tailgating and they'll be like a wolf pack baying for the blood of ANYTHING with that darn star.
I LOVE IT!
Hail.

Storming te field? What is this the 70s? You can't storm the field at pro games anymore.
Re: Fans that are attending Dallas game
Storming the field feels sort of bush league to me. Like something they do in Maryland at Turtle, Raven and Oriole games. We are Washington Redskins fans and even though it's been awhile, we have been here before and should act like it.
