980 Comparing Coles to Travis Henry situation

These guys have no brain. Travis Henry is getting upset at the Bill's because he hasn't been traded yet and says he will sit and the Bill's basically said fine.

This situation can't compare. Here are two quick reasons.

First and foremost Henry isn't the starter anymore, Magahee is. If Coles were to sit we would essentially be losing a player, whereas Henry was the backup for most of last season and this coming season.

2nd, He isn't making anywhere near the money Coles was making nor was his bonus as high.

I could go on and on, but I'm sick and tired of venting because of 980 and I don't understand why I listen to these sjdfklsjf;klsjsdj.

Gibbs doesn't put up with malcontents. Too bad the Bills are. Does that mean they're automatically right and Gibbs is wrong? WTEM is sad and pathetic, except for Doc Walker of course.:D

Getting rid of Coles was a good move. Injured toe, malcontent, whiner, quitter, and ragged out.

Getting rid of Henry is questionable at best. IMHO he is the better of the two running backs, and I still think McGahee is not as sure a thing as Henry.

You asked for an opinion...there it is. :)

i dont understand if the man wants to leave why not just trade him to the highest draft pick like were doing with rod.....

Wrong.

Henry lost his starting job, Coles was the undisputed #1 WR.

I tend to agree with these guys..... The team is playing hardball with their player under contract who has no leverage.

I imagine part of the problem for Henry is that there isn't much of a market for him. Just like no one has been lining up to trade for James or Alexander. This isn't the year of teams getting value for a good rb because of the great depth there is at the position in the draft. Coles was different because, as a wr he was in a position of greater demand in the NFL, and he was demanding to be released outright and torpedoed most possibilites for a trade. His cap hit was also exponentially different that anything Henry would cause.

We were left with only one option - Moss - but we apparently were happy to do that deal. Apparently the only offer for Henry is LJ Shelton from the Cards. I guess the Bills don't like that deal.

Henry lost his job because he got injured and MacGahee came in and played well, yet did nothing as a rusher that Henry hadn't already given the Bills. You could say the Bills have some kind of lovelust with MacGahee, because it seemed as if they were just looking for a reason to make him the starter after he became fully healthy.

I don't blame Henry for wanting out, management proclaimed him the starter and he would have nothing to worry about, and then he gets injured and they do a complete 180. His situation is much different than Coles, he got shafted while Coles shafted us.
