I can't tell you how proud I am as a LA resident that we're the car chase capital of the world.

I don't imagine that the fugitive driver got a warm reception when he was finally caught.

Oh, and I'm also sure that the CHP driver's new name is Crash. He'll never live that one down.

LA, where they close a whole freeway system down so OJ can go 20 mph with the entire police force escorting him.

Speaking of chases, is LA where the guy stole an M-1 Abrams tank and drove it through town?

Speaking of car chases, I saw my first one this past weeked. I was in richmond on this two lane road. This car goes flying past us followed by one cop car.

I was in teh back seat, so I turn around and see the guy make a sharp right turn in what seems to be someones yards. He comes to a standstill, shortly followed by the cop.

The scene went out of view after that, but I don't think it ended well for that guy. Not to spectacular, but I thought I would share.

yea you watch the chase and watch the brakes lights of the chase car and then the squad car....... who taught this guy to drive. I have not been professionally trained in car chases but i know this little rule.

I think this is the closest real life can get to GTA.
