Default The best player NEVER to win a Superbowl?

Just another mind numbing question to throw around until Camp starts. Who is the best player to never win a SuperBowl?

Man that is close, but like everyone else I would have to go with Barry, with Dan a close second.

Why the hell is Andre Reed on that list?

I needed a decent WR that hasnt won a Superbowl. By all means, I hope we can dig up other players that arent even on this list.

I was unsure about Steve Largent, but i think they only went to the playoffs once, I could be wrong though.

The answer may be a toss up between Dan and Barry but you need to take off Andre Reed and Jim Kelly and replace them with Bruce Smith and Cris Carter, and Eric Dickerson.

I would have to say Dan, he has more control then anyone else. Barry had to have help from any others to even get there.

I voted for Dan. Barry could have played a few more years so that drops him just below Marino IMO.

can I edit the thread? You guys are right though about B. Smith and C. Carter, I was just having a slow mental moment inbetween office reports. I had totally forgotten about Cris Carter, But Bruce Smith should have retired before coming to Washington.

As much as I enjoyed watching Barry Sanders run the football, I am going with Marino in this poll. Most years, he had the presence of no running game and no defense, but singlehandedly made the Dolphins a playoff contender.
