I HATE Baltimore TV Stations!!!

I've been waiting all day. They advertised that the Skins would be on Fox and the Ravens on Comcast. They have the stinkin RATBIRDS on both channels. I can't take this crap!!!
I bought an antenna to put in the attic from radio shack to get DC channels, but haven't installed it yet.

I couldn't agree more. I see commercials all week in Boston for the Skins game on fox, show up for a visit in Baltimore and see only 2 stations showing the worst starting QB in the league.

Imagine my problem when I go to school in Baltimore, FOX will whether show some '80s movie on Sunday than the Skins game. It's like all the tv stations have an unspoken agreement to make sure the Ravens are the center of attention on sundays. It's such bull****.

Lucky for me there is a bar right off campus that shows all the games and the bar owner is a Skins fan. So when Fox/Baltimore starts acting up, I'll just walk down there and watch the game with a bar full of burgundy and gold outcast as well.

Baltimore as a whole never did like the Redskins. When I lived there in the late 80s/early90s, the local news stations would not lead with the Redskins games in the sports segment for almost anything.
After one particularly exciting game, which the skins won, Channel 11 did lead with that game, but prefaced the story with, "We're starting with the Redskins game, not because we like the Redskins, but because it was [an exciting] game."

It's called Bill Bateman's, right off York Road in Towson. I go to Towson University. On sundays, they have every tv on a different football game, and usually 2 or 3 on the redskins game. I usually sit in near the back, order some wings, and just watch the game with some friends.

I go to school in Towson as well and life is tough being a Skins fan up here. The bar that I usually go to if I can't get the game on tv is Padonia Station off of York Road in Cockeysville.

I hear you... I live in Harrisburg, PA. They actually showed the Redskins/Steelers game on FOX, but not until after the Eagles game and the news... Game didn't start until 11:30.

i get the opposite problems. they showed the skins game on fox but didnt show the Ravens game on comcast. hadta watch ravens on NFL channel. i dont really mind watchin either teams but i'd prefer ravens. ravens/redskins game gonna be real good. but ya know we gonna win. Ed Reed and Chris Mcalister gonna make Ramsy look like Kyle Boller.

I am also a student in bmore, Johns Hopkins style, and went to high school in maryland. Bateman's isn't a bad place to go, definitely do not go to ESPN zone. Really the best bet you have is to get nfl sunday ticket. They have some good deals right now...
