    I wouldn't say Davis is an outstanding blocker, average at best. He's a junior, and he'll definitely be going pro.

    And btw, the only reason it was a 12 point game is because Hollenbach doesn't know how to hang on to the ball when he runs. It was a solid win, far from a domination though.

    the only reason it wasn't more than 12 points was because the 'eers fell asleep after going up 21-6. that's when maryland racked up a lot of yards, caught a break and pulled w/ in 2. once wvu woke back up, they dominated in crunch time.

    Good solid win for a young offense. Have to say, the WVU run D looks stout.

    WVU should paste ECU this Saturday - although if they don't get any semblance of a pass game - VT should load 9 in the box in Morgatown in 2 weeks. Of course, they have done that in the past against Rich Rod and WVU still shoved it down their throat.

    Should be a good game (at least I hope it is!).
