    Default I don't understand.. ?

I don't understand this QB situation at all.

Yes, Brunell had a bad year last year. He's proved, however, that this preseason, and the 2 quarter he was in the season opener that he can be very productive for this team.

Ramsey? Whats his situation w/ the redskins? Why is he still in if he's obviously over-throwing balls in very questionable situations. Its harder to get the running game going w/ him in b/c we haven't est. a passing threat. Is he REALLY going to be resigned w/ the Redskins? I mean, i dont' think we drafted a QB first round for a reliable 3rd stringer for the long haul.

When Brunell is in, you get this feeling he knows what he's doing. He's taken long strides to understanding the Gibbs system. When brunell got in, i don't know if its b/c the passing game was threatning the D, or if the D-line was tired. But portis was running the ball REALLY nice from that point on.

Why are people still favoring Ramsey? Is it b/c Gibbs est. him as a starter? Your just trying not to question this proven hall-of-famer coach? Someone explain their thoughts. Thanks

If you can't plainly see what's wrong with starting Brunell, then there's no point explaining it to you. You won't understand.

    Brunell is washed-up. Finished. Done.

I think it's the "gunslinger" aura Ramsey has. They think that because he has a strong arm, one day everything will click into place and we'll have our own Marino or something. They ignore that its been 3 years and counting. Come on Jason Campbell.

People want Ramsey to settle down and succeed as it would stabilize our QB situation for a good while. Something we havent had since JG retired. Willing to ignore all of his faults just about.

Most are against Brunell as at his age he's pretty much a stop gap and doesnt have PRs arm strength. Although he has just about every other intangible PR doesnt at this point.

Look the reality here is that we don't have a QB period. Campbell is the closest thing we have and he's at least a year away. The only way we win more than seven games is to get Portis running the ball more consistently. I do agree that Ramsey has got to ride the pine. Go Skins!

How can you say that? Brunell looks like a completely NEW MAN. And its not just me who says it. LOTS of football analysts say it too. The most common phrase that has been attributed to his *new found* playing is he has "more zipp on the ball than before". He was washed up last year, I'll agree. But this year, when he's in, theres a sense of control w/ the team.

The ball was moving down the field w/ ease. And in the preseason? Everytime Brunell was in, there were pretty decent drives for scores AND well thrown passes w/ "zipp".

Ramsey threw for more yards in one quarter than Brunell did in three.

I was thinking the exact same thing. "I know what we haven't talked about in 13 1/2 nano-seconds! Brunell or Ramsey! Hurry! Vote for one or the other now...again & again & again..."

You can just see that the players just respond better to Ramsey. Ramsey should be #1. Brunell is a good backup.

I'm not a huge PR fan, but look at Brunell's stats from yesterday's game. He didn't exactly light it up, did he? I'm beginning to question whether or not you watched the game, and are just posting based upon preseason play. Brunell DID NOT have a good game. However, he didn't make any mistakes either, which, unfortunately for this team, is very important since we seem to have difficulty racking up points, and need to hold onto the ball for as long as possible on each drive.

We're going to win games based on our defensive play and that of our running game. I'm beginning to question whether it's just poor QB play, or if our receivers just aren't spectacular. When was the last time we had a SOLID #1 receiver? Maybe the poor QB play over the past few years is directly related to the lack of one.

Yes, he did. With a turnover. Until Brunell got in, the score was still 0-0.

Brunell didn't move the ball with ease...what game where you watching? Portis moved the ball with ease....Ramsey moved the ball..ugly at times, but he did it, and showed there is an air attack in DC.

As for all the analysts who say MB is better...aren't these the same analysts we talked about not knowing squat a couple days ago?!?

The season has started...we have enough PR/MB threads to paper a wall with...time to just shut up about it and root for whomever the Coach we trust puts in!

Really? I feel like the players respond better when Brunell is in. Running game works. Receivers get the ball quickly to make plays.

No proof of this whatsoever. In fact, in a locker room interview Patten was saying how things changed when Brunell came in with him showing confidence in the huddle and such.
