Is this guy serious? How does he have a job? Young may not have the best mechanics but he was a very effective and accurate passer not to mention a talented runner.

I think if Vince Young fails at QB, he can be converted successfully to a WR ala Matt Jones.

To clarify, I don't think Vince Young is a 2nd day pick... but not everyone drafted ends up being a superstar...

He said it and the graphic on ESPN mirrored what he was saying. I am not sure whether or not his mechanics will prevent him from bing a top flight QB but to say that he is anything but a 1st round pick is asinine.

It's one thing for Merril Hoge to say he thinks Young should be a second day pick, but it is just stupid to say he will be. The only way he could say that is if he knows Young got injured severely or went to jail or something. As far as I know, nothing of the sort has happened, so he's just moronic.
