    Default Culpepper To Be Traded

i don't really know how to post it properly, but the minneapolis star tribune is reporting this morning that the vikings are now set to trade daunte culpepper, because he has asked that his wages be doubled next year. he wants like 10 million dollars a year. what is wrong with these athletes? doesn't he remember that he sucked this last year? doesn't he remember that he was injured most of this last year, and could be still injured part of this year? sometimes i really don't understand these guys. anyway, obviously we don't have the cap room to pick him up, and we probably shouldn't anyway. but here's a hypothetical question...."WOULD HE BE A GOOD FIT AS A REDSKINS PLAYER?"

No. We are preparing to hand our franchise over to Jason Campbell...why would we give him 10 million?

they said that miami, oakland, baltimore and the new york jets have expressed interest, and they say that it's a possibility that the ravens will send jamal lewis to minnesota for daunte culpepper.

no bloody way known mate: too old and fragile and expensive:the great redskin has three QB's at the moment, so we dont need no other stinkin QB

like i said, this is hypothetical. i know that campbell is our guy for the future, and i'm extremely thrilled about this. i was just wondering if daunte "could have been" a good fit as a redskins quarterback.

Daunte's hands are too small to hold that much money. He'll fumble for sure.
I'd have thought Arizona, but they just gave Warner a fat extension.
Hmmmm.. Ray Lewis for Daunte Culpepper?

Ravens, Dolphins, Rams maybe even cowboys will be interested. As far as Daunte as a Redskin he should have been ours the #11 pick that Minny used to draft him was ours that we had previously traded to them for Brad Johnson. I don't know about you guys but I would have liked Daunte for the last six years!!

Dante is a little overrated in my eyes. Without Randy Moss and those "jump balls" he had a very hard time. Maybe I'm wrong but he seems to be one of those QBs who cannot lead his football team. He needs to play a secondary role to win ball games. If he finds a team where all the pressure isn't on his shoulders he can win again. If not, he will be on a .500 team year in and year out.

Sounds like a good fit for the Dolphins.
