Not much I hate more than that. I assume you've tried Debrox, and using a water/alcohol mix in a syringe to try to flush it out? If that doesn't work, you'll probably have to make a trip to the doctor to get them irrigated. As someone who has chronic problems with earwax, I will give you the following piece of sage advice...DO IT BEFORE THEY GET INFECTED!!!!!

I hear you. Makes me want to pound my face into the wall when that happens. Good luck with it.

Also, my mom gets good results from using the shower nozzle, so you may try that also. It's never worked all that well for me though.

Like just letting the hot water from the shower fill up your ear and then wash it out?

Yeah. Use the Debrox first to loosen it up. Then hold the shower head (on a fairly gentle stream) at a 90 degree angle to your head. You don't have to spray down in your ear. Just aim it at the side of your head. You might be tempted to, but don't use the more forceful stream. Don't want to put too much pressure on your ear drum if everything breaks loose.
