Until recent weeks, he had been having a pretty horrible year. At least by his standards. Good to see him getting hot. And yeah, he will go down as one of the greatest ever. The numbers don't lie.

By all accounts, Pujols is a great guy too. He goes back to the Dominican every year to build homes, rec areas, and lift people's spirits just by being there. And he's clean too. Google "60 Minutes Pujols" if you didn't see the piece they did on him about a month ago.

Dude, if you're anything like I am that means you'll probably should one of your best rounds ever.. No lie. I've always been like that. Especially in sports like bowling (I guess its a sport) or golf. Its wierd, I know.

This didn't work for more traditional sports like baseball (softball) or basketball though. If I didn't practice in those, I became just an average player.

I'd honestly give him two "greats."

I didn't know how much charity work he did, before the 60 Minutes episode. And I respect that too. He's not doing it to talk about it. He's doing it because it matters to him. He also hosts a prom for kids with Downs Syndrome and other disabilities every year, which he attends, helping to give a lot of kids who got a raw deal a night of happiness.

The guy is the real deal, on and off the diamond.
