The people that hate are doing just that. It doesn't affect me in the least. It's just strange seeing grown men whine about what others find to be fun and challenging, and enjoy sharing their progress. It's like saying you play in a baseball league and posting your stats. Same thing. Yet one becomes a tool in some people's opinions due to their hard work and dedication. It's hilarious. I'm sure I find some of your hobbies to be toolish, yet I really don't care what you do. It's your life. Live it the way you want and be happy.

Also, a lot of things get me fired up and mad. I didn't say it in that thread but another pet peeve is the angry metal in the gym that people blast on their earphones. I don't want to hear your music through your earphones, they're earphones so that only you can listen to your music, not the rest of us

Get your own pair of headphones. I've had that problem with others sometimes, and truthfully, they have no idea the sound is coming out of their ear phones. People think that the sound is contained to their ear. They're wrong, but most of the time you don't even know you're doing it.

It's insecurity, that's all it ever is. They somehow, in their own minds, feel inadequate, and constantly resort to making uneducated, dumb remarks in order to feel good about themselves. It's even better when other insecure people join in, and sort of form their own self help group.

Gambling, huh? How far are you from Oklahoma

I didn't mean official gambling like in a casino. I meant between just my friends and I.

And it takes a little over an hour to get to one of the casinos just past the border into Oklahoma. I'd say it's about a 70 minute drive. But that's late at night and not with much traffic. That's to Winstar casino up I-35. Choctaw casino is up I-75, but it's slightly further north of the border. Winstar is literally the first exit after you cross into Oklahoma. And it's also at a stretch in the Red River that dips south quite a bit (Thackerville).

ACW, the key word is " Never sat through an episode" How can you form an accurate opinion of it if you haven't even seen it. I always joke aroound about some of the people on the show, but to be honest, It's just your typical run of the mill reality show. There are a lot of shows that would disgust me before Jersey Shore would.

I actually wouldn't mind hanging out with Pauly D. That's probably the only person that I'd hang out with though.

I went to school with the Jersey Shore type at WVU.

WVU is a haven for NJ and NY kids looking to party. As bad as the kids are on that show...they are a real part of that state.

yes, but usually not this early. Late July and especially August is the worst time. Dallas just had its 3rd hottest June on record. I lose a few pounds walking to my car after work every day.
