on the brighter side...we get this e-mail from a guy that I gave a one week ban for a blatant rule violation that (per normal) is one we regularly have warned about etc etc...he apologized, said he was really wrong and should have known better, and then thanked me for doing the job...wtf???

I had to read it agian to make sure I didn't miss soemthing and checked thoroughly for sarcasm

but i had to suspend most of the ban out of appreciation for his attitude and having gone and read the rule to find out what he did wrong and how he handled it. tk was blown away too.

I've never been a Wire guy, but then again, I've never sat down and watched more than two episodes from start to finish. I will watch it all someday though.

I felt the same way about Lost, until one day I just said, "**** it," and decided to see what all the hype was about. Watched every episode in a months time.

    Changed my life.

You can't talk about life changing TV shows unless you've seen Breaking Bad. Gustavo Fring and Walter White are GOAT characters.

I haven't seen Breaking Bad. Haven't seen Mad Men, House, Prison Break, 24,none of those shows.

The only dramas that I've been able to get into 100% are CSI ( the original) and Rescue Me, largely because I've watched them forever.

I'm too much of a History/H2, Disc, NGC, Bio, and Travel channel whore to commit to any drama series for an extended period of time at this point. Yes, I know I'm weird.

You are missing out on imo the most well written TV show I've ever seen. The character development and the tension in each Breaking Bad episode is incredible.

I had high hopes for Homeland but that show pretty much ruined 11 great episodes with an awful season finale.

Guess I'll have to check it out then. One of the other reasons why I've never been that pressed to watch some of these shows is because there is an endless amount of websites that have almost every episode.

It saves you the agony of having to wait 7 days for the next episode, or 7 months for the next season. I'll definitely check out Breaking Bad though.

I think the Wire characters are better then Breaking Bad characters. I would name some but don't want to spoil anything for ix. Plus the universe of The Wire is much more grand BBs. My favorite line "How my hair look Mike. You look good girl" No one will get it unless you watch the show.

Go ahead and talk about the Wire characters, I've been researching them on Google, especially Clay Davis.

Right now McNulty is hilarious, getting drunk in his police car and then yelling at kids that he's police, then tripping down the hill...lol

So true, we discussed that I know, but I still think back and how I got excited for Monday lunches and watching that show. The final made me mad. I want my time back.
