I found a big ass black widow here at work on Friday, right outside the building next to a gutter. Easily the fattest one I've ever seen. It was eating a grasshopper and there was a pile of dead beetles under it's web . Gonna try to get a good pic of it today and maybe catch it.

I agree about brown recluses being worse, and not only because of what their venom does. It's also cause they don't just hang out in a web and chill like a black widow, they scurry around and look for things to kill, like puppies and kittens and angels and whatnot.

Me and my brother killed a HUGE black widow right outside our house last year. Sprayed it with bug spray and next thing we knew, all the hundreds of little black dots that we thought were dirt and whatnot in it's web came alive. Hundreds and hundreds of baby black widows. Freaked us the **** out.

Also, in the same location, we saw the biggest and weirdest looking spider I've ever seen in my life in Virginia. Since then, I've spent HOURS trying to figure out just what the **** it was. No luck. I ****ing wish so, so, so much that mean and my brother weren't such ******* about spiders and that we had caught it. Or at least taken better pictures. This is all I have. It was about the size of my fist, tanish yellow in color, completely hairless, almost like a crab minus the sections/joints/shell and it didn't have a web at all. Anyone know what it could possibly be?






Also, roaches, nothing beats Fort Hood, TX. It would literally rain roaches at night. I used to pull guard duty on an airfield all the time. With the big flood lights, I could barely stand outside. They would just be raining from the sky, thousands of them.

It's amazing that cops were able to slip handcuffs on Chad William Forber, considering he was covered head to toe in Crisco when he was arrested.

Forber, 41, was arrested early Monday morning by police in downtown Rock Island, Illinois, who were responding to a call regarding a naked man.

Officers say the suspect was naked and carrying his shorts as well as a can of Crisco, according to The Quad-City Times.

“He had lathered himself up in Crisco. He was covered in grease, and was holding the can under his arm," Rock Island Deputy Chief of Police Jeff VenHuizen told the paper. “He said he was looking for a place to party."

Absolutely. Lived in Vegas for a year. Found one in the tiny little room I was renting so we tore the place apart seeing if there were more. Found eight of them just inside the couch. Found 14 total throughout the room. It's probably a miracle i never got bit.

Lots of roaches in Vegas too.

Oh you just know there were many, many more in that room alone. ****ers were everywhere!
Where at in Vegas? We were north side, at Nellis for 9 years.
