Hey how do the Starship Troopers sequels stack up? I've never seen them. Did the same guy who did the first, do them as well? (Great read btw, thx)

I haven't seen the second one, but I did see Starship Troopers 3 on ScyFy channel last summer.

From what I understand, Starship Troopers 2 sucks pretty badly.

But Starship Troopers 3 brings back Rico (again played by Casper Van Dien, because, what else would he be doing?), it stars Jolene Blalock (who I think is pretty hot), and the action and special effects aren't bad for a sort of cheesy direct-to-DVD type of movie like it is. My only issue was that the plot addresses the Federation's anti-religion policy in a way that gets a little silly towards the end, but overall, I'd say that for someone who likes the first Starship Troopers, then Starship Troopers 3 is worth checking out. Probably for as cheaply as possible, but still.
