i shot a 151 today ouch lol on the course after 3 years of not playing

My first round EVER was a 121. I thought I was the worst ever. Now I can say I'm comfortably second worst....at worst.

I know man...I usually range from 100-115 since I've been working on correcting my bad slice....but 151? that means you basically doubled par on every hole

yeah i had 30 on the first two holes, but i finished up getting 19 on the last 3 holes which was great.

well it sucked bad. i was being honest. i found a groove with my 4 iron. the driver was bad. the thing is i was at the driving range and i was consistently hitting 145-175 with any club but on the course going 50-75 yards lol

bubble i only lost 3 balls, a fox ate one, water took one and then i got one lost because 4 of us couldn't find it even though hazard or tall grass wasn't there

actually since everyone on my team was really good, no one had to wait for me. i was playing those shots really fast. by the time i went 3 shots, i caught up with everyone on my team.

Normally I'd say that's a good day (for you, anyway). However, I think I just read in another post that you weren't even hittin' it 100 yards off the tee. Pretty hard to lose balls if they don't go anywhere.

well the thing is that at least straight down the line. i had maybe 3 that went into the trees otherwise they were in the rough which sucked

I'm just playing with you, skin. I'm actually not that very good of a golfer, myself (alot better than you though). The one sport I've played in my life that I didn't consider myself very good at. And at least you're honest about it, and can joke about it. The worst guys to play with are the ones that make an 8 or 9 on a hole (and say they got a 6 or something) but won't count penalty strokes or whatnot. Drives me nuts. If you're gonna play, at least be honest about what you shoot.

i mean my best round was like 115 3 years ago but i think i will take lessons and try to hit the range at least every 3 weeks. now that i have friends who want to play and aren't cheap, its nice to play more often. the three people i played with all hit under 90 so i wasn't in bad shape. they were playing fast too
