Makes me think of the movie with Tom Cruise as the bartender.
Live it up and enjoy.
As far as the crap, just give it away to people that would be able to use it, or need it.

I get why they care, I just do not understand how some people are so blinded with homeritis.
But mad about it ? ha, that is just silly.
Thanks for the sig LCSF
agree with MissU. now i don't care i watch but now i know they will lose.
Writing my blog on Sunday afternoon is the smartest decision I've made all year.
Yeah, the Redskins losing is pretty much the norm now. Doesn't really bother me anymore. I love the team, but losing is what they do. I've gotten use to that.

My home town was carved out of swampland.

Have you seen a dude named konga posting in the Stadium lately? Forget just blind homerism, this dude is Helen ****ing Keller.
He was saying **** like " I can't wait to see all you people eat crow when Beck wins us 3 or 4 games in a row!"
"Real fans don't say their team sucks. Fairweather fan you are!"

Do you not take injuries into account ?
Why watch if you expect a loss ?
It's been pretty much the norm for your entire life. But you worrying about your random blog fits right in with your last user name.
I stay out of the stadium on game day especially. It is sad. The humor is great, but some of the points made are true and makes me grumpy.
I had a buddy ask me a few days ago..."who do the Redskins play this week?". I told him that "with all of the injuries it does not matter they are probably going to lose this one".
Side note: I will have to check his post out. Is it a repeat ?
Thanks for the sig LCSF
uhh i watch because i love the redskins, but i don't go into the game thinking we have a chance and thinking optimistic
I watch so I can write material for hack jokes and pop culture references

How come it took the Niners one year to go from mediocre to wildly successful
Where can we get some of that
NFL a league of parity but the Redskins always oblivious to it
Go look in the QB discussion thread, p. 64 and up, also check out the Buffalo Bills thread at the bottom of the page. I find it humorous to a degree, but there is something slightly terrifying about someone that thinks like that.
I almost feel like he could be sitting in a burning building, waving away desperate firefighters trying to save his life because in his mind, he sees nothing wrong, ever.
And me being the naturally "conveniently" pessimistic person that I am, I have been going into games expecting L's for the better part of the last 3 years, including this season. That, however, does not mean that I do not hope for wins, but at this point, it doesn't matter. At this point, we'd only be hurting our chances of landing a top flight QB in the draft with every win.

I wouldn't even say mediocre. Probably close to a quarter of our players don't even belong on NFL rosters. That's why the losing doesn't hurt as much as it probably should for me.

Their great defense, their great coaching staff, and their great running game, plus, being in their terrible division always helps. Alex Smith is their Achilles heel though, and will be the reason why they lose their game at Candlestick in the Divisional Playoff round. They'll coast to 12-13 wins for sure.

DUde, i just remembered something and got sad. If I remember correctly, there were some life long redskins fans from Australia that flew into DC this weekend for the game against san fran.
I feel SO sorry for them if today's game is only Redskins game they'll ever see in person...and god knows how much it cost them to get to DC form Australia. I'm sure they made a whole tourist trip out of it, but still.
I tell people all the time that the '08 MNF game against Pittsburgh was truly the last time where I had absolutely no doubt that we would win a game. A part of me died that night. Everything else that immediately followed is just akin to abusing a corpse (sorry to get so graphic)
