Bode Miller was the biggest disapointment. The Men's Curling team had to pay their own way to the Olympics. They had no sponsors. They then won a Bronze medal which was the first ever medal for the United States in Curling. I liked the American couple that won Silver in the Ballroom Dancing. It was the first medal in about 30 years. Tanith Belbin was just made a US citizen December 31st. Congress passed a law and President Bush signed it to give her early citizenship. She normally would have had to wait to 2007.

    Bode hands down.

In cae you don't watch the NHL...most players are NOT American.

US Hockey did as I suspect. As long as the pros play in the Olympics, we will never have a repeat of our historic olympic gold in Hockey.

Uh, settle down there Beavis. She goofed up yeah, but she hasn't set back the US in any way.

The biggest disaappointment for me wasn't Bode's performance, it was his comments after gave up in the slalom. He said something about being happy b/c he wasn't here to win medals, and that he had alot of fun, didn't get drunk too much, and was living the lifestyle he wanted to live. Way to represent your country there, clown.

Would it really hurt them to show some of the marqee events live on their cable networks before going into primetime coverage? I liked that they had Ice Hockey on live
Yea I agree. I kept forgettin and would open up ESPN.com or would listen to sportstalk when driving. Ruined some events for me.

The hockey was great. Really enjoyed watching the Men and Women's. Finland blanked Russia, 4-0. Almost took out Sweden too, but the Swedes were just too damn good. Not bad for a country with a population around Maryland's.
