Prospective ticket buyers for the Dallas game...

Be aware of the partially obstructed seating in rows 5-9 in the upper level. Ask the seller for the seat numbers, or risk having a railing in front of your face all game long.

IMO the TO normally holds off on selling these seats, but for this game they'll likely release all of their lousy tickets to brokers and Stubhub without any warnings required to inform the buyers. There's a reason why the TO doesn't assign these seats to STHs, don't play the fool.

The Redskins still potentially have several more games to play in the season after this one, but thought I'd ask the question: In light of the buzz generated by RG3 and the strong finish to this season, do you think ticket prices will be raised for the upcoming season (which they haven't since, I think, 2006)? And if so, by how much (i.e. lowers are currently $110 including tax......how much you think they'll be next season)?

I thought about this as well. 2005 was the last team that looked good with the potential for future growth. This team is better and younger than that team was... maybe not on defense, but overall. And they are much younger. We'll see.

One thing is for sure, season tickets will be much harder to come by next season.

It would not surprise me in the least. We have gone 6 years without an increase. Hopefully, the increase won't be too severe. I could not argue against it if it is not an unreasonable amount.

I think a ticket price hike is guaranteed since the Redskins have gone since 2005 without raising them.

The Capitals raised their ticket prices every year from 2008 to 2011 as a result of their regular season success. I expect the Skins to follow suit.

Now RFK....you should know by now that that is my policy and always has been. I've been in enough cat fights on this board with guys who insist they can stand all game long and get all pissy when asked to sit down once in a while.

But then, I don't sit upstairs any more and that is now someone else's problem. Hence my advice.

And for those who insist on standing...I can yell every bit as loud sitting down as your drunken ass can standing up. In fact, most of the guys who are standing in my experience are waving their arms to encourage everyone to make noise but they themselves aren't making a peep. Check out their lips and see if I am right. I always find that so ironic... Heck half the time they miss the damn play because they are turned around when the ball is snapped. LOL.

1. Will there be open spots at the Morgan Blvd Metro Station if I arrive around, say, 6 or 6:30? Or will I need to arrive sooner?

2. What's the best way to the Morgan Blvd entrance of the stadium from Arlington (i.e. not the Beltway)? I'm guessing it's I-395 to Penn Ave, left on Minnesota, right on E Capitol, and then follow E Capitol / Central Ave to Morgan Blvd.

3. Any other tips for someone new to parking around FedEx? I want to park at Morgan Blvd because it's only $25, and I'll meet up with other friends taking Metro before joining a crowd that always tailgates in the Green Lot. I don't need to park close to the stadium as long as I can park close to the station.

If the Dallas game is anything like the only playoff game ever played at FedEx, you will be standing the entire game. My section was in the lower bowl.

I always park at Morgan Blvd and walk up. There is always room there.

As far as entrances go... I come from Fredericksburg, so I take the beltway and get off at Ritchie Marlboro Road and then go down to Garrett Morgan Blvd and bust a right.

It's a good place to park if you don't mind the walk. It's only about half a mile and some change, but you also walk out of all of the choke points within the stadium after the game. So from the time I start my car after a game, I'm normally on the beltway within five minutes. You can't beat that with a wet noodle.

EDIT: One more thing, make sure you buy a Smart Trip card before you walk up to the stadium (you have to have a smart trip card, you can't just give them cash). Put $25.00 on it BEFORE you walk up. After the game, there are always a million cats trying to put money on their cards.

Does anyone know if it's acceptable to bring blankets to FedEx? I received a "stadium blanket" for Christmas, but I can't find any mention of blankets on FedEx's website.
