Yea just dont hold them up for like 3/4 of the game and block the views of people behind you. One game this year they passed out those REDSKINS/DEFENSE signs at the gate, and the woman in front of me kept holding hers up blocking my view... that last about 10 minutes and I finally had to lean over and nicely say if you keep doing that, I will tear that thing up

Can any experts out there offer a suggestion for the best parking / exit option for today? I am arriving via Central Ave / Morgan Blvd and will park in Green. What is the "back way" out of B3? Is it Hills Oak Road? Thanks in advance! HTTR!!!

So was anyone able to confirm whether or not they will show the early game at the stadium? Plan on arriving around 11am. Trying to figure out the plan. Thanks.

Interesting piece from the NY Post yesterday.

Some Jets STHs are plotting what they hope will be a massive revolt on PSL obligations at Metlife Stadium. In theory, if enough people bail on their PSLs, the Jets may have to grant immunity to their STHs, or face a severe PR hit for suing thousands of their fans.

I had a club level ticket, and twice I tried to go down to the lower level to watch pre-game warmups last Sunday. Two different rude ass ushers told me I couldn't do that.

Reading the OP, I was under the impression this was allowed.

It is likely the ushers are confused. It's possible they changed policy, but it seems highly unlikely since the team can't get the club filled as it is. We can email washingtonredskinsfans@redskins.com for answers to questions like this...

Does anyone have any pics from the 1st row of the 400 level? I am currently in row 12 on the aisle and may move down based on upgrade availability. Don't know if the view is blocked by the railing from the front row, etc.

I had seats in row 1 of 446 for almost ten years (sat there about 4-5 years).

There is no railing - it's a clear panel. From my seat, if I sit upright with my back against the seatback, I can see the entire field unobstructed. Same if I lean forward a little. But if I sit back and slump in my seat, the top edge of the panel will annoy me. I'm 5'10.

    Hope this helps.

Thanks Mark, I'm 6-2 but my wife is shorter than you so it may be a problem. I'll wait and see what comes up in the upgrade process..

If you're in the aisle, then I don't have to tell you how annoying it can be with people walking up and down the steps to get to their seats, especially the ass-hats who don't know to wait until a break in the action before doing so.

We're in 431, row 2 on the aisle and love our seats. The glass doesn't come into play, (I'm 6' tall and my wife is 5'8" Not sure how it works for other sections in the 400's, but the 1st 4 rows in our section are accessed through the tunnel. Rows 5 and above have to take the steps above the tunnel to access their seats. The beauty of those first 4 rows is that there is virtually no foot traffic in front of you, and no one walking up and down the walkway to get to their seats.

One thing to consider in row 1, at least in our section, the drainage sucks and after a rain storm, or snow storm, there are pretty good sized water puddles and a lot of people sitting in that row put their feet up on the ledge to keep 'em out of the water.

Another consideration, although it's rarely happens, (last time I can remember was a Thursday night Bears game back in the mid-2000's), the water was frozen and it was very slippery.

Hmm.... fine detail like this needs to be in the OP...... every FedExFielder needs to know this kinda stuff. I'll try to squeeze some of it in somewhere... Thank-you, sir.

    P.S. You got my cigar?

Yeah... frankly, row 2 probably has a slight edge on Row 1 because there is no glass problem regardless of how short you are. Although Row 1 does have a cool little ledge (slightly slanted) right next to the glass panel that you can set your beer, er, beverage on. And, of course, row 1 is cool because, during the tailgate, you can tell all the poor slobs in row 20 something, "Yo, dawg, I'm in row 1, Brah."

Then, you can sort of narrow your eyes, frown slightly, and look towards the horizon with a semi-bored look on your face as if it's no big deal................

    No problem.

Not sure how many 1st row seats in the 400's are affected by the drainage, but I can tell you that during that frigid Bears game, we snuck over to the 50-yd line, and it was an ice rink there too..

When it comes to club and upper level seating in modern venues, the view from row 2 is better than row 1 in nearly every stadium, ballpark, arena, or theatre I've visited.

Its hard to have an effective safety wall which will allow row 1's patrons to sit back in their chairs, without obstructing views of the downward playing field. There are enough drunk idiots falling out of stadiums these days, the row 1 walls aren't getting any shorter or easier to see over.
