Oh well no point complaining about what we got for him, the deal is done. Good luck Mr. Ramsey.

Well, I have to try and put one thing into perspective for everyone though before everyone gets pissed off about the trade. After spending a year on the bench, it's time for Campbell to move into the #2 spot on our roster. Brunell won't have too much longer left, so he needs to be as ready as possible when he is finally needed to step in. As for Ramsey, I still believe he has the potential to be a starter, so to send him to the Jets to give Pennington some competition is obviously in his best interest. And by this point, it was totally pointless to keep a guy like Ramsey sitting on the bench as a 3rd string guy. So knowing Gibbs, he settled for what he could get, and let Ramsey do what was best for him.

Shows you Gibbs dosent like Ramsey as a starting or backup QB , does Ramsey have flaws that even Gibbs thinks cant be erased?

I love Brunell and think we got a great future with Campbell. That said, Gibbs made improvements in Ramseys game (the 2nd Giants game shows that) ,but Gibbs must see something that he dosent like.

Gibbs is more than a Head Coach he is a players guy , he traded Ramsey so he could have a chance to start elsewhere. It must just be the Spurrier damage.

Considering he very well might have been cut, we can't complain.

    Bingo.

He was not getting anything us better than a 5th.

We can stay there and draft a punter or something, or we can package the picks to move up into the 4th or something.

Man, that is one heck of a bargain for the Jets!

At least we got something though, we may have been forced to just release him.

This is pretty sad news - we lose a good Redskin, and get little in return.

Alright, issue settled. We'll see what happens now. I think they should start Campbell, but they probably won't. It'll be Brunell or bust.

For a 6th, I would have just kept him and cut Collins... We just arent very good when it comes to horse trading I guess.

The soldiers gave three cheers as they urged their tired horses north across the uneven hills. Some of the mounts, exhausted after a week of almost continual marching, began to lag behind; others, spurred on by their enthusiastic riders, began to edge past the regiment's commander. "Boys, hold your horses," Custer cautioned; "there are plenty of them down there for us all."

I wish we had got more but at least a 6th round pick is something. That is another draft pick that we can now use for either a player or use in a trade. Good luck Ramsey.

Wow, that's really weird actually. Cool observation.

Thank God Snyder is not making the decesions anymore. He wanted Joey Harrington that yr, and settled for Ramsey. Two of the worst QBs ever drafted in the first round. We can not cry over things that happend while Spurrier was here doing nothing.

You have to realize that Brunell is the obvious starter, and he proved that last season. Then when you have a 1st round QB sitting on the bench for a season, it's time for him to move up. We certainly don't want a Brees/Rivers situation on our hands. It isn't that Pat is not good enough to start for an NFL team, or at the very least be a back-up, but he just isn't needed here anymore. I honestly hope he beats Pennington for the starting job. I'd love to see him play every week.
