on the other hand, Ray seems to be developing Randy Meyers disease.... for those who don't remember, Meyers disease effects the teammates and fans more than it does the infected pitcher, what happens is that while he gets the job done, he gives heart attacks to everyone else.... :P

Damn it. I just got home and haven't seen any highlights but it looks like I missed an awesome game.

I can appreciate a good game even when my team doesn't win. But most Yankee hitters can be too patient to a fault at the plate. I've seen Jeter sit and stare at close strike 3 pitches many times. It wouldn't be a bad gameplan from O pitchers to try and paint the edges in tight situations.

But then again I guess it really depends who's calling the balls and strikes.

Hell of a game. Sorry I couldn't stay to narrate the action to the fans who are out of town...but had to head over to a friend's place to watch the rest of the game.

    Hell of an ending, eh?

Seen the highlights on Baseball tonight and MLB.com, that looked lika heck of a game. Ray didn't break in his first real challenging situation, and stays perfect this year. I'm still impressed at how well he's done as our closer.

Mora running out that 2-RBI hit was huge. Maybe Angelos should just walk to him and say, you're right, he's the money you wanted.

You should hear the commentators on the YES network cry about the last pitch last night.

I'm a little uncomfortable with Chavez catching today. I would think that we would want Hernandez back there with Cabrera pitching.

Thank goodness mlb.com is showing the Orioles broadcast or I wouldn't be watching. Can't stand to listen to those yankee guys.

Cabrera strikes out Bernie to end the botom of the second. He got Matsui to hit into a double play before Bernie came up to bat .

Top of the third starts with the top of the of the Orioles line up. Roberts , Markakis and Mora .

Roberts walked to start off the inning, then stole second base .....

then Markakis walks right after him. Mora with a sacrifice bunt which moves Roberts to third and Markakis to second.

Tejada up..... weak grounder to the pitcher. Tejada out at first ...no runs come in.

Gibbons comes up and pops up to Jeter.

So after getting two on with no out ...the O's manage to get an amazing ZERO RUNS.

Its not as bad as you make it out, at least we are making their pitcher work for his innings, he won't last 5 innings at this rate....

Remember, currently our team is the best in the league at hitting with runners in scoring possition and 2 outs, with a nearly 380 average.....

    Cabrera's stats so far - 3 innings, 2 hits , 1 earned run , 2 walks and 3 strike outs . Daniel has thrown 54 pitches so far , 29 for strikes.
