    Default Good highlight site....

    http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/5470428

this gave me a new mock

#35 - (Pick in a trade with the Jets) - Mathias Kiwanuka - DE - Boston College - watch the clip he just dominates the offensive line. Especially the last play of the clip he just runs right thru 2 olinemen to get the sack

here is who i would take at the picks we have as of now. Im not taking into account what picks we would trade to trade up

#53 - Cedric Griffin - CB/S - Texas - he played outstanding in the Sr. Bowl. on his INT he just jumped over and in front of the WR for the pick so he got some ups and i love his explosviness.

#153 - David Thomas - TE - Texas / Owen Daniels - TE - Wisconsin - they both remind me so much of cooley and we all know that Saunders loves his 2 TE sets and having 2 Cooleys on the field at once would be deadly.

that would be sweet to me!

We need a LB more then we need a CB. and not only that, but with 4 TE's on the roster why do we need another one?

doesnt anyone think that griffin will be around in the 3rd round? we can use the 2nd rounder on a LB, then trade for a 3rd rounder for griffin, then use the rest of our picks for O-line depth. its the perfect draft. this must be the 4th time ive said this. what do you guys think?

Why is everyone so down on our Defensive Line? I think they're great and don't need any tweaking. Cornelius is a stud, Salave'a can knock balls down all day, and Wynn and Daniels are solid ends.

Kiwinunka is raw but he'd be great to develop for a year or two so when Daniels and/or Wynn retire there will be a fluid transition.

    Thats a great draft but I don't like trading a future 1st for a 2nd.

I agree. And it is a lb and cb layden draft and we need both.We have two excelent Cb's but no depth what so ever weakside Lb is a must solid De and Og would be nice.Food for thought Deangelo Hall was on local radio here last week(he's from here) saying his dream has always been to play in DC .He is free next season (07)how sweet would that be?

As far as CB goes, Marshal looks like a better CB than Griffin. I haven't seen a lot of clips on Griffin though.

If we go LB, Hodge looks like the perfect fit for our Defense. From what I saw, he seems to always be in position and flows well to the ball. He also got off blocks well, and his tackle form was really good.

I'm going to change my stance a little bit. I still think we draft a CB with the second, but if Hodge is available, I vote we draft him. Then pick a CB like Marshal in the 3rd if he is available.

no way in heck is marshall gonna be there in the 3rd. he wont make it out of the second. Kiwanuka has just plain old god given amazing talent and we need to take advantage of that. He can obviously play DE with ease but would he be better at OLB? Let GW mold him into whatever he sees fit and then take Griffin with the original #53 pick.

Is Griffin rated higher or lower than Marshal? I seem to have the impression Griffin was ranked higher. Regardless, if we go corner with our 2nd round pick, then I hope it is Marshal. Maybe I'm wrong, but most of Griffin's appeal seems to be coming from one senior bowl game highlight. I'll do some stats comparison, but that isn't always a true way to evaluate a player. If any one else could provide some more detailed information about these 2 and how they played, it would be appreciated.
