Default Offense and Defense Last Year

Do you all agree that our offense started really strong last year, particularly in the first Seattle, Denver, Kansas City and SF games, while our defense was more suspect?

As the season wore on though, our defense carried us, particularly in the games against the Cowboys, Eagles and the Bucs.

What is the key to having our offense and defense both clicking at a high level simultaneously?

I think our defense has the potential to be #1 in the NFL. That should be the goal.

I just think that our defense gave up some huge run plays that damaged us. I thought our run defense was getting better as the year went on....until we played Seatlle in the last game, their back-up murdered us. But I think the Offense played good, until we got too conservative. We were the #2 Offense at one point last year.

O-Line and D-Line need to stay healthy. This is especialy true of Jansen, Samuels and Griffen. It seemed as though most big runs our D gave up were when Griffen was injured. He takes up two O-lineman and still penetrates!

And you're correct, our D absolutely has a chance to be #1.

my only worry with the offense is how well they all gel together. if they gell well then we will be an extremely tough competitor. our D definately has a chance to be #1... i think we will be if ST stays out of trouble and M. Washington can be a good D captain... other than those few points i think we're good to go.

warrick holdman was the reason for all those big runs and i think that was why lavar got himself back in the starting lineup
