    Default Dell Computer Issue

Greetings, all! I'm having a computer problems that seems to be happening only with Dell computers. I usually order photos and other photo accessories from the Kodak Gallery Web site. Over the last week, whenever I try to order something or click on the "cart" icon, there's no button or mechanism that allows me to place an order. Yesterday, I had a friend try the same thing on her computer and she had no problems accessing the cart. I've called Kodak and they say it isn't on their end and I called my ISP and they said the same. I've recently discovered that this issue only happens when I use my Dell computer. I've deleted my cookies and cleared my cache, but to no avail. Any suggestions? Please help. Thank you!

Go to control panel on your computer and click the Display applet. Go to the Settings Tab. CLick the Advanced button. Change the DPI setting from 120 to 96 and reboot. Try again.

I have noticed that from the factory, Dell sets the DPI to a custom level sometimes. This can mess up lots of applications and websites.

You may need to update your Java software if what the Z-ster doesn't suggest works. A lot of times there can just be something trying to happen on a website that you can resolve/display. It can be hard to keep up with everything floating around out here in the cybervoid.

I tried both of those steps, but to no avail. Anybody else out there have other ideas?

what browser are you using? What resolution is your display running at? Stupid question, but is the button outside of the browser's frame? Can you scroll left to right to see it?

I'm using Internet Explorer at 96 DPI. The button is NOT outside of the browser's frame. I can see it without scrolling.

Make sure it's not trying to open in a new window and the pop-up blocker in IE is blocking it. There should be a little tan'ish frame (information bar) that comes down from right below the address bar telling you a pop-up is being blocked.
Also make sure there are no other pop-up blockers on your system.

Change your security settings in IE "Medium".

No, it's going to a new page like it's always done. Just a really strange thing.
