i usually let dana slide on most of his comments, but he is an idiot. i realize he's just trying to deflate Fedor's perceived impact, but his comments are just disrespectful. as the mouthpiece for the ufc he should have attempt to have some class and respect for fighters that fight for other organizations.

Yeah, he is probably trying to use Fedor's pride in some way.

After all, how is Fedor going to prove his worth in M-1?

Also, what about HW's such as Josh Barnett? Is White going to work on getting the rest of the Pride fighters with the UFC?

Dana is just bitter he didn't get Fedor. I'd be bitter, too. Come to the big show. Sure, Fedor manhandled PRIDE, but the two other elite heavyweights from PRIDE have come to the UFC and look what happened. Cro Cop has disintigrated, and Minotauro almost got dropped by a guy he threw around in PRIDE. It's a little bit of a different game, but it's the big leagues of MMA.

Yet, Dana should recognize Fedor's accomplishments and respect him no matter what. A "farce" hardly. Any heavyweight in the UFC would have been pummled by him in PRIDE. So here we go with the next 9 months, probably a 3-way drama. Fedor will end up being a 38 year old champ of M-1 while Randy comes out of retirement to learn how to fight by their rules at age 51. Hopefully, we can one day see Joe Frazier take on Mike Tyson, too.

Go ahead an bet against Chuck but this fight is up in the air, both of these guys are hungry and in a slump and whoever wins will likely get a title shot and whoever loses is going to be in very bad shape career-wise.

Frankly is chuck happens to beat silva ( which i doubt) he in NO WAY deserves a title shot. one win after 2 losses and you get a shot at the title? for what? for rampage to kick his ass again? no thanks. Liddell is no more then a stepping stone in the LHW division now. Too many better well rounded fighters who are far younger.

BJ would rape florian with ease

Florian has been stepping it up since losing to Sherk in a decision. I just want to see where he's at, and hell, who else is gonna fight Penn for the title? Florian is game. Penn crawls all over you, but Flo has come a long way. I see that being a tough matchup for Penn. Florian matches his standup, and he can keep Penn in check on the ground. BJ is good at slipping subs, but Florian is a Jiu-Jitsu monster.

That sucks. I know he hasn't won a lot of fights but he's very entertaining to watch because he holds nothing back, he literally comes out swinging with everything he's got. I hope he returns soon.

You can say the same about Wandy. He got KTFO in his last two fights.

But in MMA, you're only as good as your last fight, if one of these guys comes out and destroys the other for a 1st round KO victory, they're automatically back on top of the world again.

I never said anything about Wandy. Howeverm he is a much different subject. Dana is paying big bucks for all these pride superstars, he can't afford to have Wandy beat Chuck then not fight for the title right away. What happens if wandy beats chuck then loses his next fight? Dana would look like a clown for bringing in yet another pride superstar who dropped the ball. Not to mention that Dana said at the signing that "he was been waiting 5 years for this" He can ill afford this.

So, do i think Wandy should get a title shot if he beats Chuck, no i do not. However, like i said, i wouldn't be surprised if he did.

Personally, I feel Chuck and Wandy have to win at LEAST 2 more fights before they get a shot.
