P4P has nothing to do with weight, hence the term. GSP is dominating one of the deepest divisions in the UFC right now. He out wrestled two of the best wrestlers in the cage, Serra is a BJJ beast who couldn't beat him and he just dominated the crown jewel of the UFC last night.
I seriously don't get your arguement, what is Lesnar going to do if he goes on a tear? Go fight a gorilla to be the smaller guy? The term P4P was created as a "what if". Matching skill set for skill set where everyone weighs the same who would win or who is the best. Hasn't nothing to do with the actual weight of the person.
IMO Spider is still a bit of an unknown. He can obviously fight but no one has tested him so that makes you wonder if he's that good or is the competition just not good enough. Henderson is a legend and Franklin ruled 185 for a long time but neither of them are as complete of a fighter as Silva. I don't know how true it is but I've heard rumors that the UFC has tried to schedule Silva another fight at 205 but he keeps turning them down. Is he scared? I want to see how much heart he has before crowning him the best P4P in the world.
Hey SU, here's your sig man. Some eye candy while representing the Ultimate Fighter Challenge. This accomplishes so much. Easy on the eyes, it advertises the sport, and more people will do sig bets with me now. I tried making it small so you can fit a .gif in there while keeping the hotness of the chick apparent.

Anderson ain't scared, he simply believes the LHW division is Machida's. they are great friends and training partners so unless Machida loses sometime soon, i don't expect to see Anderson at 205 for awhile.
i don't agree with you're argument about Silva not being tested. i don't think you can blame him for his opponents not being able to test him. if anything it makes him look better that he can dominate these fighters with such ease. Henderson was considered the prototype to beat Anderson before the fight. Franklin doesn't get enough credit for how good he is (no shame in losing to Anderson, Machida, or Hendo).
i agree that Anderson hasn't really been tested in the UFC, but i don't think you can blame him for that.

No worries. Excuse you.
Lol, um yeah. Definitely don't read to much into the weight these guys walk around at...a lot of them are going to walk around 15+-5 over. This is why it's such a big deal to jump between weight classes. A lot of people think it's just 15 lbs. It's so much more than that.
I'd say that is an accurate summary of what's actually going on.
Double post. I hate ES at midnight Pacific....

Pound for pound is a judgment of how successful and talented a fighter is without any weight factor. Therefore, one could make the argument that 135 lb bantamweight champion, Miguel Torres, is pound for pound BETTER than 265 lb Brock Lesnar.
We all know Brock would pick his teeth with Miguel, but pound for pound, he's not as talented and successful as Miguel.
