In the "Own3d" thread, the .gif of Heath Herring being kissed and then KTFOing his opponent came up. Does anyone know the name of the fighter that kissed Heath?

damn shame Bowles got hurt. his fight with Torres had serious Fight of the Year potentialMiguel Torres will have a new opponent for his April 5 title defense at WEC 40 in Chicago, as MMAWeekly.com has confirmed that Brian Bowles has been forced out of the bout with an undisclosed injury. Stepping in to replace him is No. 6 ranked bantamweight Takeya Mizugaki, who is expected to sign a five-fight deal with the WEC, Torres being his first opponent.
The news was confirmed to MMAWeekly.com by multiple sources close to the fight on Wednesday.
Mizugaki makes not only his WEC debut, but also his debut in the United States with an impressive resume of fights on the worldwide stage. The Japanese based fighter has won his last five fights while competing in the GCM Cage Force series. He spent the biggest part of his career with the Shooto organization.
Mizugaki brings a very stiff challenge to the table for Torres, who is riding a 16-fight win streak, his last two wins serving as successful title defenses after taking the belt from Chase Beebe in February 2008.
The fight between Torres and Mizugaki will headline WEC 40, the promotion's first trip to the Windy City, which will also feature another bantamweight showdown between Jeff Curran and Joseph Benavidez.

Two updates here everyone.
Timmay finally has a fight lined up after getting Zulu'd. And surprisingly, it's a boxing match against none other than gold medalist and former WBO HW champ, Ray Mercer. Tim will box the old warrior on May 30th.

In other news, Hasim Rahman, the boxer who just got beat down by Wlad Kitchko and is famous for winning the HW title by KO'ing Lennox Lewis, is entering MMA. Looks like he's seeking a fight against a big name fighter without a ton of MMA skills. Perhaps Kimbo, Butterbean, or James Thompson.

Anderson picked some damn good training partners to get ready for Leites. Jacare is widely acknowledged as one of the top 5 in the world in BJJ, and Galvao isn't far behind.RIO DE JANEIRO, Brazil -- If you need to train top-level jiu-jitsu, there is no better place than Rio de Janeiro.
UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva knows this well, and that’s why he’s in Rio getting ready for his April 18 title defense against Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt Thales Leites at UFC 97.
Two BJJ legends are helping Silva prepare: Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza (ADCC 2005 88-kg champion and multiple-time world BJJ champion in his weight class and the absolute class) and André Galvão (current world BJJ Champion and ADCC 2007 third-place finisher at 77 kilograms and the absolute class).
“I’m studying Thales’ fights, imitating his way of fighting, in order to help Anderson,” explained Galvão, whose left eye was purple after a hard sparring session on Feb. 10. “This is the result of two high kicks. He hit me while I was trying to take him down. Anderson never stops and changes his base all the time, which makes him hard to clinch and take down. I admire Thales a lot, but I would bet all my money on Anderson.”
In early February, Galvão was the highlight of the Brazilian ADCC Trials. He submitted five of his six opponents to earn a spot in the 88-kg bracket of the submission wrestling tournament.

and André Galvão (right).
“If ADCC 2009 is really confirmed for September, I may compete. But now my main focus is MMA, and Anderson is helping me a lot,” said Galvão, who is confirmed for the 76-kg Dream grand prix in April. “Training every day with him, Jacaré, Feijão and sometimes the [Nogueira] brothers, I feel I’m in the best place in the world for a MMA fighter.”
Jacaré, who has defeated Roger Gracie twice in submission competitions, is also happy to be part of Silva’s training.
“I didn’t get adapted at Xtreme Couture, but I was having nice training with Saulo and Xande Ribeiro in San Diego,” he said. “Actually I came here invited by Galvão just to visit him, but Anderson and the whole group treated me so well that I decided to stay. Now I’ve been training with them for almost two months.”
Jacaré is also scheduled to fight in Dream in April. The bout will not be a rematch against Gegard Mousasi, as many have thought.
“Mousasi went up to fight in another division. I don’t know who will be my opponent, but I’ll be ready for him,” said Jacaré, who has a record of 10-2 in MMA.
Asked for his opinion on the title bout between his new training partner in Silva and the Nova União black belt in Leites, Jacaré didn’t hesitate: “I hope Anderson gives 1,000 percent in this fight and brings one more victory to us.”
Leites only chance against Anderson is on the ground and even that is slim. Anderson training with Jacare and Galvao will only make him better........which is scary

shame we only get to see this match when they're in the twilight of their respective careers.Former Pride and UFC interim heavyweight champ Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira has agreed to face former UFC heavyweight champ Randy Couture at UFC 101 in August.
Though a date can’t be confirmed at this time, multiple sources wishing to remain anonymous say the unannounced card is likely to take place in Portland, Ore.
MMAWeekly.com on Thursday reported that Couture had accepted an offer to face the Brazilian, his first fight since losing the heavyweight crown to Brock Lesnar at UFC 91. Nogueira has now reciprocated, although bout agreements have yet to be signed.
Couture turned down an offer to fight Nogueira in December of 2007 after resigning from the UFC in a contractual dispute. He remained heavyweight champion through his 11-month leave, while Nogueira defeated Tim Sylvia to win the interim heavyweight title at UFC 81.
Nogueira subsequently lost the title to Frank Mir in the second round of the UFC’s unofficial “heavyweight tournament,” with Couture losing his undisputed title at his UFC 91 return.
Couture was again offered a fight with the Brazilian in the first half of 2009, but an elbow surgery and obligations to the Sylvester Stallone-helmed “The Expendables” put the bout on the back burner. A widely rumored appearance at UFC 99 in Germany was also shelved due to the film.
Next month, Couture will begin filming the action flick alongside stars Mickey Rourke, Stallone, Jason Statham, Jet Li, and beleaguered California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Sources indicate Nogueira may do the bulk of his fight training in Los Angeles, sharpening his boxing skills with boxing guru Freddie Roach.
this could've happened years ago when they were both in a tournament, but Couture lost before he got a chance to fight Nog (who eventually won the tourney)
on a sidenote, all fighters made weight for Sunday night's WEC card
