Nick the Face is famous on other forums for his MMA promo videos. He does it better than the guys actually working for the UFC IMO.

UFC on FX tonight at 9pm(est), Fuel prelims at 6.

should be a good card tonight, my picks:

Alves over Kampmann, Unanimous Decision: Wouldn't shock me if Kamp wins, but he tends to get rocked in fights and that can sway a judge.
Benavidez over Uri****ani, 2nd Round Submission: This should be very one-sided
Mighty Mouse over McCall, Unanimous Decision: McCall is good, and I wouldn't be surprised if he pulls it out, but I think Mighty takes a close decision

Because I think Kampmann has been robbed a couple times (no need to debate as it's not really relevant anymore), I seem to root for him. I hope he takes a big step forward tonight by stopping Alves... but I doubt it. I agree with SU that the Pitbull will get a UD over Martin.

This first flyweight fight is greatness, things moving a rapid pace, but the technique is there.

Always enjoyed watching the WEC for that very reason. The action, speed and technique of the lighter fighters is really fun to watch.

    Good luck scoring that fight.

I think that may be the first time I've ever seen someone showboat and play to the crowd like that in that situation.

It was stupid though, he could've got the finish if he didn't pause.

Yup, and it looks like it did cost him the fight.

I scored the first 2 round for Johnson, but thought McCall could've got 10-8 for the 3rd.

    round 2 was pretty close.

It's difficult to watch a fight where the guy finishes that strong and doesn't get the decision.

Ya especially since the fight was extremely close. I gave McCall the first round by the takedown. I can't recall but I am pretty sure he atleast passed Johnson's guard which scores IMO. Ya Johnson got back to his feet but McCall wasn't swept.

McCall is going to be sick when he looks at this fight again and see how close he was to finishing in the 3rd when he started showboating.

I didn't think his takedowns with no damage and little time spent on the ground mattered as much as Mighty Mouse's striking in the first. I thought MM clearly won that round on the feet, and they only spent like less than a minute total on the ground from the two takedowns.

I thought Johnson won round 2 and round 1 was the round in question.
