I think it's because Hughes has lost a lot of his fights recently and that's what sticks out in everyone's minds but he's only lost to GSP and Alves, the top two WWs in the UFC right now. Hughes isn't the dominant fighter he once was but I also don't see him losing to Serra....

submissions are ***** to pull off in this game, i'm starting to get better at them, but its much easier to just ground n pound to a victory

I stepped up the difficulty to "Advanced" and I am seeing a lot more to the ground game.
I was spinning the joystick methodically. It works better if you do it more like a street fighter fire ball. Also holding the left bumper make it do different things, sweeps among them.
Turn the stamina bar on to for a while to see how much all those sub attempts and free swinging affects the fighter.

I don't like either of them, but I think I dislike the arrogance of Matt Hughes more than Serra's.

Don't get me wrong, I absolutely respect Hughes' accomplishments and have rooted for him on occasion (Trigg, Penn). But I just think he is a prick.
