    Smile Uh Oh Eagles

I dont know if its enough to fret about yet, but I might be worried if I was a Feebles fan.

    Eagles Blog: Westbrook Injures Foot

By Scott Bomboy , Managing Editor, NBC10.com

The Eagles' official Web site reports that Brian Westbrook has a foot injury.

In a brief note, the Eagles say Westbrook has a "foot sprain" and it is not a Lis Franc injury.

Last season, Westbrook missed the final four games of the regular season after suffering a Lis Franc sprain in his right foot.

The Eagles also report Reggie Brown hurt his calf during morning workouts.

There was no further word on the severity of the injuries.

Running back Ryan Moats did practice today and the Eagles signed free agent running back Marty Johnson, who was in Denver's camp and played in NFL Europe.

Let's all assume the worst. We know how rare bumps and bruises are in training camp; severe injuries are much more common.

Um, Westbrook and Brown are both fine. They're keeping them out for purely pre-cautionary reasons.

Keep hoping against hope that these guys are injured. You clearly are doing so right now. We've been holding guys out of practices all camp, none of them have suffered a serious injury yet. Why would this be any different?

    you're learning

BTW, I don't see this as a major concern right now, if it was the first of September, or during the regular season maybe

Honestly I am not hoping, when we do crush you guys I want all of your jerkys to be healthy. All I was saying is that its easy to spin things from both prespective but the TO thing was strange from the begining and the puke fans were spining it like DJ Whitey. Just my

A foot sprain? The treatment for that is just two or three days of rest. I know that because I'm a Sports Medicine major in my NCAA 2007 Campus Legend mode.

Not saying its what this post is doing... But it seems that there is a good bit more celebrating of injuries this season... Maybe its all the bandwagon jumpers... Not good.

I was just thinking the same thing reading some other threads. Concerning these players it appears they will take a couple of days off and come back fine. Still early in camp and shouldn't be a problem.

I agree with Bubba that people need to show a little more respect. Every team goes through injuries during the preseason and regular season. It is a matter of life in the NFL. We don't need to wish injuries or cheer injuries on anyone.

My only point is that I would be concerned that a problem area of the past appears to be showing signs of still remaining a problem area. I was not dooming the season, the Feebles are always dangerous, I was just pointing out that I would be just a bit concerned.

Yeah, so far we have been really lucky this TC. But we will see how long that lasts. Everywhere else it seems like it has been really bad.

This post is hardly disrespectful. Rooner is not taking any joy in the injury and hardly hoping for it to be severe. But the truth of the matter is that it did occur to a main cog on the Eagles who has a history of not only injuries but foot injuries. It doesn't matter how minor this one is, it is something that Eagles fans should worry about.

I would also like to comment Rooner for his appropriate usage of "Feebles."

Damn, I hope he's alright. Eagle or not nobody deserves injury.

Besides when we whoop your ass twice this year we don't want any excuses.
