It pains me as a Michigan enthusiast (I now go to a D-1A school so I'm trying not to call my self a "fan"... but I know the truth) to make this my list, but here goes:

It's hard to put MD in the bust category... they are predicted to finish 9th (4th/5th in their division) so they really have nowhere else to go but up... give me 7-5 with a bowl game and I'd be happy...

I think Michigan as a pre-season #5 is a little homerish (and I'm a Michigan fan). Though I do think we'll be in the top 5 come season end.

I hear ya... that's why I said it would be hard to consider them a bust if they didn't do well this year... for them to get to 6-6, even with their cupcake out of conference schedule, would be a step in the right direction. sucks to say that after the first 2 years under with Fridge, but it's true.

The only thing I have to say is ND should be a high pre-season rank, but it won't last long. As for OSU being on top, I hate it. Just means there a target.

I agree with ND as a bust. However, I can't guarantee anything with the Buckeyes. At Texas the second week?!!!! That scares me.

Ohio State, LSU and Texas are gonna be the teams to beat. I'd like to think the (PSU) Lions got an outside shot of making it in there like EersSkins suggests - #9, but their secondary/D-line has to really show me somethin'. Notre Dame is waaaaayyy too overrated. I'll give it to Quinn, he's the real deal, but that's about where it ends for the Irish
