    Default Cowboy picks Redskins

    http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/3690072/

    Novaceck's Sunday Night picks:

    Redskins (0-1) at Cowboys (0-1)

This is shaping up to be an interesting season for the Redskins. They were playing well at the end of last season, but they fell flat in their opening loss to the Vikings.

The Cowboys, meanwhile, didn’t play well against the Jaguars. Drew Bledsoe’s three interceptions killed them. He’s great when he gets time to throw, but he struggles when a defense gets pressure on him. He needs to overcome that as a quarterback, because other players on the Cowboys say he’s incredibly accurate with the ball when he gets time.

Washington should be better than what it showed in the first game. It played well on defense but struggled to run the ball.

If the Redskins can put pressure on Bledsoe, they will win. This is a referendum on how well the Dallas offensive line plays. The Cowboys need to establish a rushing attack to keep heat off Bledsoe. Pick: Redskins

Well, you know that if (when) we win, as far as the media is concerned, it will be because the Cowboys played poorly, and not because the Skins played well. No respect....fine with me.

I am worried about this week. I think you guys have more heart. That pisses me off as a fan, but last game, we showed our skirts in a meaningful game. I wish we could go back in the day where the players weren't FA's and were a lifetime team player.

No injuries and may the best team win.

I give him credit, he is the first media person to admit it was a team thing not just Bledsoe

I don't think we can really rely on the media's analysis when it comes to feeling confident about our team. All I'm saying is, my confidence will never come from the media's opinions about the game when it comes to my support for the redskins. However, it is quite interesting that an ex Cowboy didn't pick them to win.

Atleast the media is all over the Cowboys for making them look stupid.

I'm getting a real good feeling about this game. I was real scared about 1 day ago but my confidence is slowly growing.

I think the "retard" gene is strong in Novaceck and Michael Irvin's DNA....

Funny thing is, on one of the 'girls' boards, a few of them are picking us to win.

His statement that our defense played well against the Viqueens has me questioning his opinion. Did he not see how atrocious our D was on 3rd down?
