Looks like a southern district brought in a bunch of votes, there was a significant bump for Allen.

That's with 44% or so in.

Those numbers are not good for Webb. Traditionally, the late votes favor Republican voters, since more Republican voters work than Democratic voters and therefore vote later in the day.

I'd agree that it doesn't look great for Webb. It'll be interesting to see how things turn out.

I don't think it's a case of what time people voted, since I'd doubt that any precinct would count the votes before closing. However, I would suspect that the more urban precincts would have more modern equipment and more workers, and therefore they'd phone in their votes quicker, and they'd tend to vote more D.

I'd agree with you that later results tend to favor the R's. I just think it's a matter of precincts rather than of individual voters.

No, its 27% with like 55% of the precincts reporting. The turnout is going to be about 50. Trust me, I noticed it at like 3% before, it's been going up as the votes come in.

Todd, I just noticed something about those numbers you posted (and the turnout I commented on).

1.2M isn't the number of people who voted. It's the number of votes that have been counted.

Yep. Massachusetts gets exactly what it deserves.... a dumb, liberal, son of a ***** of a governor who is going to steal from our pockets to pay for all the disgusting social experimentation projects that he and the legislature will continue and expand. Whatever small part of Massachusetts may have still been somewhat like the state that Sam Adams, Paul Revere and company would remember just died.

I should probably be downstairs loading pistol and rifle ammo, but I think the stocks are in pretty good shape at this point. I get the feeling I might be needing them very soon.

Webb will pick up some more votes in Arlington County (Webb up 10k there with only 40% reporting) and Loudoun County (only 12% reporting), but I don't know that it will be enough.
